The Agenda Redux Playing Cards and Agenda Coin are the latest offerings from Flagrant Agenda following our success with Agenda Playing Cards (henceforth V1) and Mini Agenda Playing Cards last year. Playing cards have again and again proved to be fascinating mediums for communication. We have recently come into contact with mint coins as another means. Compared to playing cards, mint coins has added durability but constrain the expression of our ideas visually. We, however, appreciated the opportunity to crack our brains and take only the best of our design and put them on the mint coins. The Redux Go Deck is a new, exciting and ultra portable deck that is part of Flagrant Agenda's Kickstarter Project, Agenda Playing Card Redux. The main idea for Redux Go Deck is about making a move and being mobile, settling in nicely with the core concepts of Agenda Redux on change and transformation with change, and transformation as signifying moving from the present to an ideal future. The Redux Go Deck is partly inspired by other portable deck projects, as well as Chinese playing cards, which feature such strip-like dimensions prominently in various forms.

Making a point without actually expressing what one has in mind or worse, making a different point from what one has in mind with the intention to mislead, is the key message that Agenda Red is representing. The reasons for not expressing what one has in mind can range from the innocuous ("I am shy," "I am just trying to keep my opinions to myself") to the malicious ("The media is -- really, the word, I think the best term I've come up with -- is fake"). You can call this having hidden agendas or ulterior motives. Different sides of the same coin. The essence of all these is putting on a front that is not genuine - a facade. In Agenda Red, this idea of a facade is incorporated into the card design through the use of masks. Masks are featured prominently in our newly designed Aces and Court cards. We are quite pleased with ourselves that we managed to cover another key aspect of change and transformation and to represent it through a simple and elegant metaphorical device. We hope you share the same sentiments too.
