This project began as an extension of Tarocchi Gialli, my most recent tarot deck. That tarot deck was an homage to the art style found in the advertising of vintage Italian Horror films, and during it's production I fell in love with my art.

In the context of this deck, the Candles are clubs, the knives are Spades, and they are both red suits. Meanwhile, the Skulls and Eyes are Hearts and Diamonds respectively, and are the yellow suits.

This is a simple project that focuses on offsetting the production costs of this set of cards. Therefore, the actual printed materials includes only the 54 cards and the corresponding tuck box.

The cards are printed on 300gsm white core paper and measure in at 63mm x 88mm. They will have a matt varnish on both sides to ease shuffling.

The tuck box will similarly be printed on 300gsm white core paper and will have the same matt lamination.

Matching with the production of the original Tarot deck, these cards will also be produced by Dongguan Bayaya Board Game Co., Ltd.
