Funded as a Kickstarter project on July 22, 2014 with $53,355 pledged from 756 backers, this was ultimately a set of 6 decks, some with custom cards and some tuck swaps, plus uncut sheets and varied non-deck add ons. Using the 1920s-30s mobster era as inspiration, this USPCC deck series consists of the Gold and Silver decks, later followed by limited edition Cotton Club and Stork Club decks (1,500 each) which were tuck swaps and finally the limited editions of Empire and Kingpin (1,250 each) which were fully different decks (face cards, backs and tuck). While the decks were designed, submitted and copyright 2014 they were not printed or delivered until early 2015. This PCDB Entry is for the 1,250 limited edition Bicycle branded Empire deck. They featured not only a different tuck, but custom courts, design and back as well. Like the other limited decks in this series, they also used serialized seals on the decks.
