Even the inside of the box has a breathtaking, intricate guilloche pattern. The Joker and back design bear the Latin phrase “Audentes Fortuna Iuvat.” Fortune favors the brave. The Ace of Spades features an iconic Citizen “C” emblem.

Every aspect of Piracy Playing Cards were designed from scratch, featuring fully custom fonts, suits, Jokers, Court Cards, and Aces dripped in gold and silver foil. Inspired by the mysteries of the deep sea and the guardians that protect lost treasures, you’ll be transported to a new world every time they’re held in your hands.

Nightfall is a mirror of the original, with much the same art and layout. We designed the original to be as if you were in the tropical rainforest, peering up at the sun through the natural habitat. Nightfall is that same view, but time-shifted to the evening, when the moon is glowing and the light is cool and dark. We subtly refined many aspects of the original design and added some visual texture and detail. Nightfall is the perfect companion to the original Tendril deck.

The box features deep blue metallic foil, debossed accents and vibrant color artwork. This deck was printed by USPCC in a limited run of 5,000 and will never be reprinted.

The Babylonians invented 13 zodiac constellation signs in the first half of the 1st millennium BC. Over the years the number of signs has reduced to 12, which are the ones we use on the daily. The name of these twelve signs are today mostly associated with horoscopic astrology, which are also the inspiration behind the design concept of the Constellation Playing Cards.
