In honor of our glorious friend, Ask Alexander, we have collaborated with M. Stutzman, artist for David Blaine’s wonderful playing cards and posters, to bring you the Ask Alexander deck. Featuring numerous diabolical properties and an elegant, cunning design, this is a deck that you will be proud to have with you in magical endeavors, as well as an excellent addition to your card collection. The Ask Alexander deck is printed on the finest casino paper and to the highest standards available at the United States Playing Card Company. During the course of our efforts to make our various custom playing card decks, we have made numerous trips to the USPCC’s facilities in order to personally oversee the manufacture of our playing cards and to make any and all adjustments necessary to craft the perfect deck of cards. This unique, impressive deck is manufactured in both Cambric and Ivory finishes in order to accommodate all personal and devious preferences. The cards are cut in the same fashion as our previous decks to facilitate smooth handling and effortless faro shuffles.You may notice a similarity to Bulldog Squeezers and Angel Back Squeezers. They were our inspiration when designing this deck. The bold one way back design of the Bulldog Squeezers combined with the elegance and nuanced features of the Angel Back Squeezer deck.

Grotesk Macabre is the evolution of "Grotesque", which was the UC2014 annual deck. Taking this deck as a starting point, I tried to create my own vision of the Underworld. Although a joyful and positive person myself, I had always been attracted to dark themed artwork. I find fascinating how artists throughout the centuries have imagined the world of the dead and how they dealt with the greatest fear of mankind. In Grotesk Macabre I tried to combine the darkest of all themes with the heavy elegance of baroque and the pointy, flamboyant Gothic art.

For almost a century, 'The Expert At The Card Table' has been considered indispensable to attaining the highest level of card mastery. Recognised as the go-to text on deception with a deck of cards. The search for the elusive author has led us to 12 men who could carry the burden of the world's greatest cheater. One mystery gave birth to a myriad of authors, fans and obsessives. We aren't sure which we are. It's speculated that it's simply an anagram of E. S. Andrews. Others say that it was Herbert Lee Andrews creating an anagram from his wife Emma's name. Some say it was a Chicago Railroad worker, and others choose to believe it was printer Harry S. Thompson covering his tracks. The truth we choose to believe is that S. W. Erdnase is a lifestyle, for those who want to keep their addiction hidden. To not let the world know how devious they are. This all started as a fitting tribute to magic's most famous stranger, and a friend to us all.  

THE CARDS Featured on the back is a deep black replica of Erdnase's green book, and the box is laced with vibrant gold-foil. The deck was developed by Natalia Silva with the intent to create using MPC for 'just in time' 2015 Christmas delivery, but Penguin Magic purchased the rights to the deck and pritned using USPCC with pre-orders in early Dec 2015 with delivery shortly after.  Both Penguin Magic and Natalia made the deck available for pre-orders and after.
