Savage Majesty

Savage Majesty is an intricately and lovingly painted playing card deck by the artist Leslie Casilli. Inspired by creatures of high fantasy, it features four fantastical races; the Dragons, Zeffurs, Pheonix, and Jazzercorn, each of which represent one of the four suits. The intention of the project was to create a deck which featured colorful and intensely detailed designs that focused on unique creature creation yet stayed true to traditional playing card composition. A defined inner border allows the cards to be able to be read quickly and accurately. The inverted heads stay true to traditional card design. The Met has partnered with Lingo on these one-of-a-kind playing cards inspired by the Museum's holdings. Arms and armor have appeared in virtually every culture through the millennia, though their styles, materials, and applications are vast. Comprising some 14,000 objects, this specialized collection is one of the most comprehensive of its kind. From a magnificent Japanese mask (1745) bearing the ferocious face of Jikokuten, one of the Four Kings of Heaven, to an exquisitely decorated British suit of gold and steel (1527) probably forged for King Henry VIII, this deck presents highlights and hidden gems of the Museum's renowned Department of Arms and Armor. 56 cards per deck. Collaboration between The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Lingo Playing Cards. The naming convention used by The Met appears to be in the style of "The Met x [collaborator]". Not explicitly stated but probably Classic Air Cushioned Finish.

Introducing the ultimate pack of 3D playing cards. This deck features 54 unique 3D Shark images that jump out in high resolution lenticular 3D. We are passionate about creating the highest quality lenticular products in the world, and think this will be our best yet! The Artgame is best known for the 3D bookmarks that we sell worldwide. When compared to bookmarks the Shark Cards require 50 times the artwork and 30 times the lens material, but only retail for 4 times the price. Through Kickstarter we are pushing ahead, as we want to create something spectacular that will become a timeless collectible. Your pledge will let us bring some magic and awesomeness into the world that wouldn't be possible without your help. All card images are printed in cutting edge lenticular 3D, giving you over an inch of depth in the thickness of a standard playing card. All without the need for special equipment or viewing techniques. One of the hardest things to do is show off the effect of 3D lenticular printing in 2D formats, So far we have used animated GIFs to try to give a simulation of the 3D card art.Here are some more 3D examples Stereograms are a classic way of viewing 3D images, there are two ways to view them. Cross-eyed viewing, where you cross your eyes while looking at the image until the left and right images combine to make a 3D one. Parallel viewing, where you look through the image, unfocusing your eyes until the two images combine to make a 3D one. We have provided dots above the images to use as reference points for viewing. Use whichever technique works best for you
