Legal Tender is Kings Wild Project's next offering in a long line of luxury playing cards inspired by the artist Jackson Robinson's love of currency art and banknote engraving. With over seven years of playing card design and having produced over 200 custom illustrated decks of playing cards, Legal Tender is the culmination of some of Kings Wild's most breathtaking artwork combined with the industry-leading advancements in printing technology and production.

Note: This is the v2 version of the Holographic Edition, not to be confused with v1. To distinguish, this edition is clearly marked as VERSION II on the bottom of the tuck, thus should receive a separate entry on P52. According to Jackson Robinson, "This version contains a design update that allows for only certain design elements to shine with holographic foil, rather than the entirety of the card, allowing for the artwork to be clearer and more accurate to the modern dollar bill."

Inspired by vintage tobacco industry packaging, the Volume 5 Table Players edition, also known as "Slims", is the fifth deck in a six-deck series. The No.13 Slims feature a classic look with well thought out designs and colors. Each Table Players deck features the beautiful Kings Wild Standard Court Cards for easy table play.

The Vol. 5 cards are printed by The United States Playing Card Company in the United States of America. The cards are printed on Classic Bicycle Stock with a silky smooth air-cushioned finish.

In 1970, Jerry's Nugget Casino printed what would become one of the most collectible playing card decks ever manufactured by the United States Playing Card Company (USPCC). They made them for the tables but opted not to use them and put them in storage for 20 years! Playing card expert, Lee Asher, recognized the unique quality and feel of these cards and began evangelizing about them. In due course, Jerry's Nugget playing cards became legendary.

By the fall of 1999, these cards sold out, yet the demand continued to grow. Today, authentic Jerry's Nugget cards are among the most desirable and expensive modern decks on the market. After more than three years of pursuit and negotiation, a deal with Jerry's Nugget Casino and Expert Playing Card Company is making them available again!

In homage to the original decks, we have decided to print with USPCC on their Premium stock (formally called Bee stock). We are THIN CRUSHING this stock to the thickness of an original Jerry's card. And while these new decks won't feel the same as the originals, we've modernized them for today's tastes. They will be the perfect thickness (or thinness, in this case!) to handle today's sleights, flourishes and cardistry with ease. You will love these cards!

THE CUT: The Modern Feel Jerry's decks will be TRADITIONALLY CUT, which makes them perfect for faro work! They will shuffle bottom up so table faros will be a breeze.

THE PRINTING PRESS: Unlike almost all other custom decks that are printed one sheet (one deck) at a time, these Modern Feel Jerry's Nugget decks will print on the biggest and fastest press in the USPCC factory - THE WEB PRESS!

The Web press prints on huge rolls of paper and works extremely quickly, printing both sides, crushing the stock, coating both sides, heat curing the cards and cutting out the sheets in about one tenth of a second per deck! This unique printing process is the best available way to make cards at USPCC.

Once you feel these cards, you will see that the quality speaks for itself.

Introducing a precisely digitally hand-recreated reproduction of the next Cotta's almanac deck full of history, and for the fourth time, strongly touched by Schiller's works, continuing after the previous yellow, green, and the blue one, which was the first published complete transformation playing card deck in the world!

The red "Turandot" deck is the fourth in a series of six famous transformation playing card decks we plan to release... This fourth Cotta's almanac playing cards deck was originally published in 1809. There is no known evidence of any deck issued in 1808, and so this red almanac issued in 1809 is considered to be the fourth in a series.

Court card figures depict Arabs in various costumes, which could have been taken from sources of the seven climes (Persia, China/Turkestan, Khwârazm, Slavonia, North Africa, Byzantium, and India), which as well adds another historical value to its rarity.

Additionally to the series of Cotta's almanac decks, all influenced by notable authors, this one might also draw on aspects from another Schiller's work - especially the translation and his intriguing epic symbolic adaptation of Turandot, the famous commedia dell'arte (Italian comedy) play by Count Carlo Gozzi from 1762 after and originated in supposedly Persian story of Calaf's adventure in the theme of the Arabic and Persian tales from the collection (Thousand and One Day) Les Mille et un jours (1710–1712) by François Pétis de la Croix.

The artwork also may have been inspired by the Arab population that migrated to Germany or even studied in Tübingen where the Cotta's publishing house was founded. But mostly there was a friendship between Schiller, Goethe, Cotta, and Gozzi, who died in 1806, a year after Schiller in 1805, what might have been the true impulse.

Centurio is the first deck (and probably last because David from Vanda is a scammer) in a series of playing cards based on ancient civilizations. It features artwork by Victor Kevruh and is based on ancient Rome. The court cards showcase intricate illustrations and the tuckbox features gold/red/white foil colors, embossing, and interior gold foiling. The decks are sealed with metallic numbered seals.

The cards are printed by the United States Playing Card Company and the tuckboxes are printed and assembled by Gamblers Warehouse. Centurio was produced as a limited edition run of 2500 decks.
