Inspired by Andrew Dougherty’s legacy and particularly by the design classified as AD1 in The Hochman Encyclopedia of American Playing Cards by Tom and Judy Dawson, this limited edition deck has been created for 52 Plus Joker, the largest playing card collectors’ association in the world. Designed by Elettra Deganello.

The Club Deck consists of 53 cards – 52 plus a joker – printed by Legends Playing Card Co. with cold foil on the faces and backs of the smooth-finish paper stock. The shape of the box pays homage to wrappers used before the advent of modern packaging items like today’s tuck boxes. Printed in Italy by Boschiero & Newton on high-quality cotton paper stock with gold hot foil and letterpress techniques, it features multiple layers and elements to discover. This exceptional deck embodies the charm of the antique while exuding a modern elegance, perfectly capturing the spirit of the fantastic playing card collectors’ club.

The Gilded Cartomancer variant of the House of the Rising Spade Playing Cards features gold gilded edges which makes them resemble the rare and illustrious Room 17 playing cards by Stockholm17.

The HRS V3 also features gold geometric lines on the court cards and comes with "the sun card" as a 4th Joker from the iconic Keymaster Tarot deck.

Gemini is a deck of completely custom illustrated poker size playing cards. The deck will be printed by Expert Playing Card Co. (NY, USA) on casino grade paper stock with their Classic Finish coating. While the campaign is run from here in Stockholm and is in Swedish crowns (SEK), the rewards will be fulfilled from the US.The choice of the name Gemini is based on the peculiarity of the court cards (JQK). At first glance the figures of each card look perfectly symmetrical, but they are not. I depicted them as twins (Gemini in latin) but they are not identical, so you will see small differences when you look closely. I thought that the Gemini zodiac sign would fit this idea, so it gets a bit astrological in its design. The archetype of Gemini is fascinating and intriguing.

With this deck, I wanted a classical, medieval feeling. The aces are depicted as axes and the figures on the court cards interact with their own pip, which becomes part of the illustration. The pips (2 to 10) are big and they take a lot of space. I used an unconventional index, which is horizontal instead of vertical. I used a prototype for testing and found that it is very playable and easy to read, especially for Burraco.

Gemini Terra: sienna back, tuck-box with embossing, copper and gold foil on thick black paper.

Gemini Ignis: red back, tuck-box with embossing, red and gold foil on thick black paper.

Gemini Noctis (stretch goal added later in project): blue back, tuck-box with embossing, silver (or silver-aqua) foil, black foil on black paper, and foil on the back of the cards.

The Odd Fellows are a care-free crew, unbothered by the norms of "functioning members of society". El Sapo Cubano features pearlescent bronze and lime green and white foiling across the barrel embossed case. 17 marks scratch across the top signifying the date of the launch and the number of Stockholm17. On the face of the deck is El Sapo himself with a custom diecut around his mouth to show the display card below with the edition # of the deck out of 888. This display card is a custom letterpressed card that is also signed by the artist.

El Sapo Cubano was a limited edition deck run out of 888 launched as a special release in the last 48 hours of the 2021 P52 campaign.

The custom illustrated court cards feature a wildly intoxicated bunch with custom illustrations for each individual pip. The back designs are also 100% custom to each deck in the Odd Fellows series while still maintaining a cohesive design to maintain integrity throughout.

The Astra Polaris deck features an matte black colour with gold hot foil on the tuck and gold cold foil on the backs of the cards. All Astra Polaris decks come gilded.
