Created in partnership with California based creative studio, DKNG, Red Wheel playing cards is our most anticipated collaboration to date. DKNG, founded in 2005, helps some of the world’s foremost artists and entertainers inspire others through illustration and design.

The Red Wheel deck is as iconic as it is fresh - taking inspiration from the classic Bicycle Rider Back, we are pleased to offer an all new updated look - clean design meets creative personality in each card. We could not be happier to introduce Red Wheel playing cards - a new classic to your collection.

Featuring 54 custom illustrated playing cards printed by the US Playing Card Co. and housed inside a foil-stamped and embossed tuck case.

Funded as a Kickstarter project on March 19, 2015 with kr462,035 (Swedish Krona, which is about $57k USD) pledged from 1,015 backers, this was the Kickstarter attempt at funding this project after the failed CardLauncher (cardlauncher.com) platform attempt, where that platform has since been abandoned.  In that process an earlier protoype (V.01) was created as a prototype and also as a promotional deck for CardLauncher itself which had 55 cards with black and white courts, different tuck-box, different aces, and was printed by MakePlayingCards in 525 units. 

For this project the deck was revised with new and modified face cards, back and tuck and was available in Bicycle branded, unbranded, plus a special Crown Edition hand created tuckcase with the same size and face cards.  It was printed by USPCC on Bicycle Stock with 56 cars including 3 jokers and a gaff card with a custom seal and embossed tuck used on both decks.  The deck as also available as an add-on in uncut format.  In addition, mini and micro formats were available as gifts with larger sized tiers which were printed by MPC (MakePlayingCards.com).

There is no specific theme in this deck, it´s quite eclectic and I let my fantasy run when I illustrated the courts. The diamonds have clearly an Egyptian resemblance, but overall they belong to a parallel world. There is a thing that connects all the court cards: the text circling the background is a part of the Aeneid, a Latin epic poem written by Virgil between 29 and 19 BC, that tells the legendary story of Aeneas, a Trojan who traveled to Italy, where he became the ancestor of the Romans. 

In 2011 Zenneth Kok reprinted the Black New Fan Back playing cards and a new color scheme White New Fan Back playing cards. 5000 decks of Black New Fan Back decks were printed successfully but only 1000 White New Fan Back decks were manufactured due to factory mistake. These decks were very well received among magicians and playing cards collectors for their superfine quality and classic back design. 4000 decks of Black New Fan Back were sold out in only 3 days after official launch, the remaining stock were reserved for Zenneth\\\'s personal use. Only a small quantity of the White New Fan Back cards will be made available to market as a special promotion.

Originally offered by Spicy Pickle Creative as a KickStarter project in June 2014, with a failed relaunch shortly after, the rights and artwork were purchased by Albino Dragon.  After 2 years of deliberation and almost being abandoned, it was finally successful in June 2016 with 272 backers who pledged $7,857.  

The Legends 202 decks by Legends Playing Cards were a set of 3 varied color decks of red, blue and black. The tuck case featured 3D embossing and a custom die-cut tuck box with interior foil. The cards designed by Mark Stutzman utilized two tone printing. Symbolism was also referenced for each deck with gold and black for the sun and land, silver and blue for the moon and heavens, and red on white for the double crown encompassing upper and lower Egypt. There are only 3,202 decks printed per color of Legends 202 Egyptian Edition. The decks were also hinted at containing hidden secrets, similar to prior decks. While they did include a marking system for identifying cards from the card back, there were flaws in the clubs suit where the 8 and 9 have the same markings on the back (ribs of the hound). This error then caused the 10 to read as a 9, Jack as 10 and Queen as Jack. While the King of clubs returns to the proper markings, this is a total of 4 cards that provide the wrong information.
