Hello - and thank you for taking the time to look at my Kickstarter campaign! I'm hoping to fund this lovely deck to be printed in the USA by USPCC in a limited edition (to be finished September or October of 2019). This deck combines my two career tracts, Graphic Design and Animation, by featuring flip-book style animation on both sides. It is visually based on NYC and its art deco style; should this first "clockwork" become popular I would like to make this the beginning of a series based upon other international cities.

Do know that the animation on the backside is "event neutral," meaning that one cannot tell what is on the faces of the cards by studying and memorizing the individual backsides of the deck. You're safe from cheaters!

This will be printed standard CMYK process, no metallic inks will be used on this deck.

The animation on the faces of the deck includes a speedy clock, my logo (which includes a raven landing and taking-off), and in the crescent moving clockwork with letters passing under a magnifying glass - hmmm . . . what words do they spell? Included will be instructions on returning the deck to its original order to view the animation. To see all of the face cards and a demonstration of the animation, you can view the movie above.

Jackson originally designed the Sherlock Holmes deck as one of his first Kickstarter decks in collaboration with the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Estate. The initial Sherlock Holmes decks were Baker Street, Moriarty, Hounds of Baskerville, and the Holmes Edition. Jackson has taken the Holmes Edition and given it an updated design as well as placed it with the newest Sherlock Holmes card illustrations. The few difference between this deck and the most recent Sherlock Holmes deck is the new tuck case design, the use of the original back design, and there is no foil used in the cards. The tuck case has an embossed finish with gold foil. The cards were printed by Mr. Playing Card in the United States and the tuck case was made by Clover St. Press.
