In Sanctus, Lotrek continued his byzantine religious theme and used techniques from his Liturgy deck. On the back and faces he used both white opaque ink as well as foil. To create a simple but luxurious look he went with a full bleed back, using two different shades of gold on a metallic bronze stock. For the card coating he came up with a new and improved formula which should improve handling for cardistry. On the Tuck, he went with the same design as the backs wrapping all six sides with a combination of matte and shiny gold foils for the back ground, with black foil for the lettering. The Tucks are also all numbered.

These rebel playing cards are inspired by 80s surf and skate culture in sunny California. The radical design is off the wall and bursting to be played with!

Their mix of abstract, bold and colorful shapes are as fresh for your next card game as they are for cardistry.

This limited edition deck features a borderless back-design, oversized court cards and a vibrant tuck box printed with shiny silver foil.

The cards are the same from Cartomancer variant, but they have been gilded in France. The deck has the numbered seal on the back. Numbers are assigned randomly and cannot be requested.

This is the second collaborative release between Native Tongue Studio and Doc's Playing Card Co. The concept of this deck has gone through several iterations. What was originally a NOD to bad luck at the poker table it soon turned into a picture board of people having their own tough luck. From Wild Bill's "dead man's hand" to being attacked by bees, each court is different.

The back design complements the faces with a repeating skull pattern.

Webster’s dictionary defines patina as…who cares what Webster thinks.

You already know what Patina is. It goes beyond mere appearance. It is something almost tangible that describes what something appears to feel like.

Rust on a worn blade. Mold on a window sill. Frost on brittle weeds.

Mere description may be enough to elicit feelings of these things, but its the Patina, the visual cues of texture/pattern/repetition that gilds these things with LIFE.

Unique decks (cold foil), printed by Cartamundi with cold foil on both sides of the cards.

More than one year and a half ago I used cold foil in my first deck printed by Cartamundi. Even now, it is hard to find anything like this on the market. There are some decks printed using one color foil (silver or gold). But it is nearly impossible to find a fully custom deck, with foil on the cards, where other than gold and silver colors are used!

It is hard to design such full of colors decks and then use cold foil. But the result is always fun, that's why I love working with foil! Who does not love shiny and beautiful cards? :)
