Solitaire17 LTD700 Blue deck was released as part of Stockholm's 2023 Patron awards. This deck was based off of two name brand decks he designed for his Solitaire17 game app released for Android & Apple phones.

The paper for these decks is a little different as Lorenzo wanted to test it for a real deck. It is white core art paper with the playing card texture, and the same butter finish as the other ones. Usually he orders the German Black Core paper with butter finish (Quartermaster, 17th kingdom, and others). As replica of the Solitaire17 app decks they turned out great and the foil application is very defined.

I had in mind a new odd fellow and finally I found some inspiration and started to sketch some odd court cards based on a concept.

The way I am distributing characteristics of the characters is displayed in the black table. Long story short: I picked the number of court cards (12) and I am matching them with the 12 houses of the zodiac, the 12 months, and 12 major arcana associated to that month (like my Keymaster Tarot Calendar). Suits are associated to seasons, and this will affect the color palette difference between red and black cards.

Who is Madame Laveau? find Marie Laveau on wikipedia. I did not take everything from the original character, just the last name and the mystic aspect.

This deck is part of a 6 deck collection. Uranium 52 is an apocalyptic, nuclear-themed deck. Each deck comes with 56 custom designed card backs and faces and a bespoke, luxury tuck case. The backs of the cards feature a bespoke design inspired by the "Indian-head test pattern" that was widely used during the black and white tv broadcasting era. First introduced in 1939, this screen more recently became more closely associated with an impending apocalypse in popular culture, through television and gaming. Court Cards The court cards take the core premice of court card design and uses nuclear/apocalyptic associated design elements, combined with a style that falls in line with the overall tone of the deck to create unique illustrations tailored to the theme of this deck. The tuck case takes a more clean, minimalist approach in its design. The case uses glossy black foil printed onto a special, luxury stock called "Nuclear Acid". This stock in itself inspired the creation of this deck. It has a very unique colour and texture that isn't commonly seen on card stock.
