October 2022 KWP No. 13 Club deck, standard edition

October's Subscription deck is shaping up to be one of the best decks we've ever produced. Sterling, a British Legal Tender deck, features both holographic laminated foil and gold hot pressed foil. The beautiful designs of the British currency are featured throughout the deck. The combination of the holographic foil and the gold foil is something that is going to blow you away. The Standard edition of the Truett 38 Special, features rich, bold colors, resembling the original ammo boxes accompanying the gun handed down to Jackson by his grandfather George Truett.

The intricate and colorful drawings of Ivan Moscovich have been featured at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, the Museum of Mathematics in New York City and prestigious galleries around the world. Now, for the first time, a limited selection of his life’s work is available to a global, online audience. Each image below is an original, one-of-a-kind artwork.

The images on these cards were created through collaboration of man and machine. Ivan Moscovich patented his Harmonograph device in 1967 and soon after his revolutionary approach to drawing was featured in an exhibition titled Cybernetic Serendipity at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London.

A ground-breaking visual artist, inventor and author, Moscovich’s work attracted the attention of creative luminaries such as M.C. Escher and Frank Oppenheimer.

Cybernetic playing cards are a curated exhibition of 54 unique Harmongrams printed on the face of each card.

Designed to resemble an ancient book, its features include a book spine, blood-stained leather binding, and frayed paper edges, and wear-and-tear that look like you have the book itself, sitting on the shelf.

The court cards include characters such as Beowulf, Wiglaf, Grendal, Hrothgar, and others. Each card is designed with an intricate wooden design with gold foiling to emphasize the classical and ancient nature of the story.

Legal Tender is Kings Wild Project's next offering in a long line of luxury playing cards inspired by the artist Jackson Robinson's love of currency art and banknote engraving. With over seven years of playing card design and having produced over 200 custom illustrated decks of playing cards, Legal Tender is the culmination of some of Kings Wild's most breathtaking artwork combined with the industry-leading advancements in printing technology and production.

This Holographic version is made as a form of revisiting old Kickstarter project by Kings Wild Project to be revamped into the deck which is meant to be. In this version, all of the design of the Legal Tender is applied with holographic foils.

The "OG" Federal 52 is an almost exact reproduction of the very first Kings Wild deck ever designed and produced. Until now the OG Federal 52 has never been reprinted and by most playing card collectors and enthusiasts are considered one of the cornerstones of the custom playing card world.

It is with great pride and excitement we have finally reprinted this very special deck to us and to many of the original supporters.

The OG Federal 52 was printed by The United States Playing Card Company.

The only changes we have made from the first edition are enlarged index numbers and letters to help with easier readability. Also, new custom plate IDs and serial numbers are on all of the court cards and aces.

The easiest way to tell the difference between the first print run from 2013 and the new print run is by looking at the bottom of the box. You will find a new add copy. Also, the new print run does NOT have a green seal with the Kings Wild logo.
