Fontaine Cards collaborates with MGM Studios to produce Army of Darkness Playing Cards. The deck is based on the third and final installement of "The Evil Dead" Trilogy by Sam Raimi - tells the story of the protagonist Ash Williams as he travels back in time into the Medieval era to help the kingdom to fight against the malevolent Deadites.

The tuck box features custom sideways opening - the cover bears the monstrous Necronomicon book; the flap opens and extends to reveal the pages of the Necronomicon. The cards feature the movie characters presented in the Courts and Aces. The Back Design features the iconic double Fs in red with a tan white background and spiky red border - yet there is an element of it that makes it a subtle one-way design. The Jokers feature the locations of the movie. The extra ad cards present Fontaine Cards in Army of Darkness title font, with one of it being slashed with a chainsaw.

This deck was exclusively created to accompany If an Octopus Could Palm, Dan & Dave’s first book on palming techniques. A limited run, the decks have never been sold separately. The artwork for these cards is a faithful rendering of the book’s cover, which was created by Juan Luis Buñuel. The deck comes with an Ad card, a gaff card, and two custom Jokers.

The Faro variant features gold metallic ink on the back design, and a few graphic elements of the faces.
