Light Factor and Dark Cell are based on the concept of darkness and light.

The cards have different effects when exposed to ultraviolet light. "Light Factor" absorbs the energy of light under the action of ultraviolet light. The face card will evolve angel halo and angel wings. "Dark Cell" generates the dark mutation effect under ultraviolet light. The neurons on the back of the card show bleeding red light and shadow, and the face cards also produce mutation markings.

Imperial Painting 和玺之绘 - 状元令 "He Xi - Top Scholar's Order" (Red, Mini Cardistry Edition, 4.15 cm x 6cm, approx 1.6 x 2.4 inches), limited edition of 1888 Craftsmanship: This is the MINI size cardistry deck. Using 300G German imported black core paper stock, thinner and better handling. Design elements: The theme of the Top Scholar's Order is based on the main color of Top Scholar Red. The design of the 平步青云 "flat stepping green clouds" shading and double-curved lines adopts the "window lattice" element that symbolizes the hard work of the proverb 寒窗苦读 "reading by the cold window". The card face has enlarged numbers, so the MINI size will not hinder normal use. The back part of the card uses elements such as 天圆地方 "heaven and round place".

Imperial Painting 和玺之绘 - 三尺令 "He Xi - Bamboo Slips of Law" (Black, Regular Cardistry Edition), limited edition of 2888. The law was generally written on bamboo slips that are three feet long (the length in ancient times), so later generations will use 三尺令 the law of three feet as another name for the law. Craftsmanship: A version specially made for Cardistry. Using 300G German imported black core paper, thinner and better handling. Features special metallic inks, gold and cyan gold are used on both tuck and cards, creating gorgeous patterns. Design elements: The double-curved line of the card box adopts the brick pattern of the Han Dynasty, which means 文武双全 "excelling in both scholarly and military powers."

Translation note: 镇尺 literally translates as "town ruler" however it actually means an antiquated paper weight that ancient scholars used. 村雨, Murasame, also 村雨丹, literally "village rain", though often translated as "autumn rain", refers to a type of rain that falls hard, then gently, in fits and starts. In Japanese poetic tradition, it is particularly associated with the cold rains of autumn. This series was designed by WohStudio and printed by KSPCC. It is not a King Star deck, just like Bicycle & USPCC, King Star has it's own design team that creates King Star branded decks, and it's own printing factory KSPCC for its bread and butter. Inspired by Akame ga Kill!, a Japanese manga, which was in turn inspired by Nansō Satomi Hakkenden, an ancient text.
