Vivaldi Largo represents all the court cards with a different type of string instrument: lutes (plucked with fingers, or more recently with a plectrum). The colour scheme on the front of the cards is the same as Vivaldi Allegro.

Printed by USPCC, limited and numbered (only 1000 decks printed each). All court cards are custom, each is drawn holding a bowed string instrument and the color scheme of each suit matches the mood of a season as a homage to "The Four Seasons": one of the most famous masterpieces composed by Antonio Vivaldi.

This deck features weirdly wonderful bio-mechanical anthropomorphic creatures from English artist Mr. Mead who channeled his childhood fear and obsession with anthropomorphism. The characters are grouped by family into the four suits, Birds for the Hearts, Horned Beasts the Diamonds, Cats the Spades and Foxes the Clubs. A total of 4 versions were printed in 6 runs of 100 each.  Each version uses the same cards, but a different tuck for each version.  Initially released in April 2011 as v1 with 100 decks using a tuckbox featuring a rat head and Antlers Gallery 'A' logo on the back, as they were sold by antlersgallery.com only or at the gallery reception event.  Shortly after a 2nd version was printed using the Diving Bull (AoD) on the tuckbox with 100 more decks.  This was followed by another 100 printing as v3 using the Voxman (AoC) on the tuckbox.  Finally the v4 in 3 print runs of 100 each using the foxhead logo, also known as the 'artist edition'.

Mr. Mead uses the traditional drawing technique of dip pen and ink to blend the animal, human and mechanic into a super species he nicknames Bio-Mechanical Anthropomorphism. Working from his studio in Jamaica Street Studios, Bristol, Mead creates artwork for folk tales, album covers, posters and large scale works. He has exhibited far and wide, from London to New York and Melbourne.

This was a joint Fantasy card project by the Russian Playing Card Society and Jokercards, 2018. The suit of clubs are Water World; diamonds are the World of Nature; hearts are Sky World and spades are Mountain World.

Palekh is a type of Russian lacquer art. The name comes from the village of Palekh, situated in the Ivanovo Region, Russia. It first appeared at the beginning of the 20th century. The creation of this handicraft style of painting was based on local icon painting and its main features were landscapes and figures reflecting the traditions of the time.

Historically, Palekh was known in Russia as one of the great centers of icon painting. Icon painting was a family occupation and the craft was passed on from generation to generation.

Cards are printed on thick 18pt stock, exceptionally solid in feel and 50% thicker than the standard Rider-Waite deck.

They are also coated with a tough, nonreflective, scratch-resistant coating that, while durable, is still exceptionally tactile and smooth. The surface feels similar to suede or a rose petal.

Exceptional water-resistance is a result of this coating as well as the high quality, thick paper stock. Don't lose it in the ocean for a year, but a 10-minute soak in water revealed no adverse effects after drying.

Each card deck is also edge-painted black by hand, ensuring that every card you have has been personally finished by the creator.

Inspiration and/or artwork came from a number of victorian era printed sources including Cheselden’s Osteographia (1733), The Rime of the Ancient Mariner (1798), Under the Waves: Diving in Deep Waters, A Tale (1876), Bilder-Atlas zur wissenschaftlich-populären Naturgeschichte der Wirbelthiere (1864), Gustave Doré’s “Death on a Pale Horse” & "Achan Is Stoned to Death", Dictionnaire Infernal (1818), Osteographia - The Anatomy of Bones (1733),  Traité de phrénologie humaine et comparée, accompagné d'un magnifique atlas in-folio de 120 planches, contenant plus de 60 sujets d'anatomie humaine et comparée, d'une parfaite execution (1832), misc victorian era advertising prints and other sources.  These collections of art were updated, even modified in some cases, and broken out into categories by suit: Hearts - Victorian Era Anatomy, Spades - Victorian Era advertising, Clubs - bizarre Victorian Era story telling, Diamonds - Victorian Era nature illustrations.
