Timeless Americana is laced throughout the design, with iconography of colonial America and patriotic symbols of peace, prosperity, and potential. Unions are Made in America, using FSC-certified paper, vegetable-based inks, and starch-based laminates.

Unions were designed by Jay Fletcher in Charleston, South Carolina - one of the oldest and most historic cities in America.

Over a year in development, every aspect of the design was created from scratch - from the breathtaking court cards to the back design and Ace of Spades.

This entry is for the second print run of v2 edition of DeckONE playing cards which can be distinguished by roman numerals "III" visible on the tuck flap. First print run of v2 edition has "II" on the tuck flap.

Two versions, across three different printings. Printing #1 did not have the aged, worn look that the current edition does. People carried these decks in their pockets, and eventually they would wear down and develop a really cool aged look. V2 emulated that look. V2 had 2 printings. The III indicates the 3rd printing, which is a V2 printing. II and III are essentially identical other than that small change which indicates the printing.

Citizens are the most intricate, breathtaking playing cards we’ve ever produced. Illustrated in America by Kevin Cantrell, every aspect was handcrafted with relentless, unrivaled attention to detail. 

For the first time, we combined gold foil, hot stamping, and bronze foil to create a box design that’s eye catching, elegant, and sophisticated.

Even the inside of the box has a breathtaking, intricate guilloche pattern. The Joker and back design bear the Latin phrase “Audentes Fortuna Iuvat.” Fortune favors the brave. The Ace of Spades features an iconic Citizen “C” emblem.
