Venexiana Dark is in fact two different decks: The "Masked" and the "Revealed" editions, with the first one featuring the courts wearing masks, while the second has the courts unmasked and their faces revealed!

There was a mixup in production which resulted in the tucks for the decks being mixed (masked card in revealed tuck and vice-versa).  This was only noticed after initial shipments were started and then shipment halted to allow the decks to be re-packaged.  As a result, some decks exist with the wrong cards in the wrong tuck, but the majority are assumed to have been corrected.

A deck of 54 different and exquisite artworks of parrots by Renee Le Compte, after the style of the parrot on the front of the box. Every single card is different, and each number card has a corresponding picture of that same number of parrots. For example, each 10 has an artwork showing 10 different parrots, for a total of forty different detailed full coloured parrots on the 10s! The aces show single parrots from behind, looking back over their shoulders. The court cards are the only cards with two-way faces, showing the same beautiful parrot upside up and upside down. Jokers are different and also show parrots with a jester's hats in different positions. The backs of the cards are two-way and bordered, showing four parrots looking towards the left. The deck includes a double-backed card. The seal shows a parrot head looking towards the right.

Oxalis Standard Playing Cards is the first deck, designed and created by Vincenzo Alfano (Vincent) a graphic collector of playing cards, produced by the USPCC. With the help of his friend Dario (magician, collector) thanking him by putting his name on the box of this edition, he has created a deck that is suitable for anyone who practices the magnificent arts of card magic and the world of collecting, for whom, therefore, he wants to play cardistry or magic games with cards or, even, for all those who like to have a rare and super limited edition object on the shelves. This deck in fact, is limited to a circulation of only 900 with numbered seal and will never be reprinted.

The idea of Oxalis is based on a passion for the world of plants and on the concepts of enhancement and respect for nature. The etymology of the name derives from the Greek (acute; pungent), due to the acidulous taste of the plant and from (salt), due to the high quantity of oxalic acid. The back of the deck, in particular, refers to a purple variety very similar to a four-leaf clover: “oxalis tetraphilla”, whose reference is present throughout the deck, as well as on the box.

But there is much more to discover in this deck, in fact, many things have been explained to leave free interpretation.

We stopped offering the Pagan deck to wholesalers 1 month after we received it and 1 year after it's release we have only a handful of the original Pagan decks left at our studio.
