“Middle Kingdom” was used to refer to civilizations around the Yellow River Valley before the empires leading to modern-day China began to form. The two characters in the ideogram for China, 中国, are part of those for Middle Kingdom, 中央王国, so the reference has stood the test of time. The court cards use exquisitely detailed line art of Chinese deities and people, while the card back is a great freehand drawing with interpretations of Chinese lattice borders and, of course, a dragon.

China's vast history provides a rich palette of subjects for court cards.

Crushed Gold Gilded Edges, xx/1888

It is foretold that, that which has risen will sink, and that which has sunk will rise. It descended from among the stars to earth, and the stars will eventually return to their rightful place. The abomination is waiting for the dreamscape in the deep abyss. Decay spreads in universe, as it is devoured by the darkness. That moment has arrived. Glimpse of Blood Mirror Hidden deck is only found in the boxset, not sold separately. Printed by KSPCC, using 310G German black core paper, limited edition of 1288. The double-layer tuck box is embossed, and completely covered with gold foil and green invisible ultraviolet ink technology. Dark red bronzing foil is used on the face and back of the cards, and both sides are covered with green invisible ultraviolet ink technology as well.

Launched on 13 Sep 2020. Both Xi He (Black tuck, Gold Gilded) and Qiong Gou (Grey tuck, Regular) have double tuck cases featuring 3 layers of cut out hollowed design. This echos the artform of Chinese paper cutting. The redesigned double-layer inner and outer tuck case, with the addition of UV technology on high quality Pearlescent paper stock, makes it feel lifelike with the embossing. The Card back design for Xi He (Black tuck, Gold Gilded) is borderless, and is specially designed for Cardistry, to ensure a smooth fanning even with Gold Gilded Edges. Qiong Gou (Grey tuck, Regular) features white borders. For both Xi He and Qiong Gou, 7 decks make up a perfect panorama scene.

Hi, my name is Edisun Sun. I am a person who is constantly inspired by traditional elements, especially those of the Japanese tradition. No matter if it’s the beautiful vistas, the food or just the Japanese culture in general, I have always been fascinated by the way how fully it has been preserved in the tradition. There are many symbols that one could mention when talking about Japanese culture. Cherry blossoms, kimonos, tea ceremony, they all have a very deep meaning behind them. However, the one that must be the luckiest and happiest must be the Maneki Neko (the Japanese Lucky Cat). Maneki Neko is a traditional cat-shaped decoration, which has been highly esteemed especially in the Edo period more than 400 years ago. This is my first deck of cards and therefore I chose this lucky charm as the theme in the hope of portraying our never-ending pursuit of happiness. Bicycle Maneki Neko has two versions, Blue and Red. The overall style is subtle and beautiful but also manages to show the cat’s cute and mischievous nature. Red Edition The red and blue versions are designed to be quite similar, with differences in small details. - The red color is also derived from the Ukiyo-e style and appears bright and vivid. - The design looks as if it’s spreading around from one central point, adding a sense of dynamics to the illustration. - Instead of Mount Fuji, the red version has a torii gate, symbolizing the channel for gods through which they can pass on blessings to the people. Each of the version is sealed with a sticker, which is also decorated with a lucky cat. The blue version uses a silver sticker, while the red a gold one. The Bicycle Stained Glass Phoenix Playing Cards is just as mythical and magical as it sounds. The Phoenix symbolism is that of resurrection and renewal. If it perceives impending death, the Phoenix ignites itself into a sea of fire and soon rises from its ashes as new. The tuck case pairs the fiery orange Phoenix glow with an icy blue. The glass has been cut into jagged pieces of art.

The back card displays different shades of orange. If you look closely, you can see the wingspan and piercing eyes gaze back at you.

The courts, along with the numbered cards, have a dark and eerie sense to them, as if you have just walked into the dark ages. The Phoenix lives within each card in the deck.

Enjoy the beauty of sunshine through colored glass? Well you are in luck! Introducing The Bicycle Stained Glass Deck. The moment you set eyes on this deck birds will sing and love will fill the air. We stayed true to the colors that have graced ages of stained glass throughout time. A lot of time was put into each card making sure each one was masterfully crafted. We covered the tuck case in bits of glass and centered the holy symbol to card enthusiast, The Spade.

The back card is like looking at the glass in a church. The circular design acts as a kaleidoscope and really sets the tone for the whole deck. It also looks great fanned.

Cards Feature a Gold trace of the Traditional 808 Designed Back with Background colors of Red, White and Blue. Cards can be used in any standard 52 card game and even includes 2 Gaff cards to do a magic card trick called Million Dollar Monte. The jokers are Clipart of the Staue of Liberty and Uncle Sam. The Ace of spades is done in a Flag design done on a map of the USA. King of hearts know as the suicide king because of the knife lodge into his temple on traditional Bicycle decks has been removed and replaced with a peace sign, done in red, white and blue. Cards measure standard poker size 2.5" x 3.5" regular index and are made with High Quality Bicycle Playing Card Stock. The Spades and Clubs are colored Blue instead of the traditional black.
