Deck of 52 Businesses & Charities launched by the Military Community
The Bicycle® Frontline Leaders, Collector's Playing Cards reveal how the military community is stepping up to the frontlines at home from Main Street to Wall Street. This deck is the first of its' kind compilation, demonstrating how the post 9/11 military community is making an undeniable impact across industries. *Each of the businesses featured will benefit from the proceeds of this deck.
As a spin-off from the 2003 Iraqi Most Wanted Playing Cards, the Post 9/11 Frontline Leaders Deck of 52 flips the script and highlights the Military Community. Each card represents a post-9/11 veteran owned business or veteran founded charity. Each card represents a deeper narrative about the post 9/11 military community—stories about grit, determination, passion, compassion, innovation, and leadership. Created by Marjorie K. Eastman, author of The Frontline Generation.
The 52 organizations selected for the 2019 Frontline Leaders Bicycle Collector's Item Deck represent how the post 9/11 military community is taking care of each other, our communities, and rising to opportunities and challenges here at home. These cards are connections to deployments and the home front, and, moreover, offer moments of pain, inspiration, and then purpose. Every branch of service is represented in this deck, along with family members and Gold Star Families.
The Frontline Leaders Deck of 52 is proudly printed in the USA on premium Bicycle brand card stock with their classic, air cushion finish by the US Playing Card Company for ease of shuffling and optimal performance.
Original and exclusive artistry inspired by U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Richard Casper, Founder of CreatiVets:
Intertwined Ropes: Representing the two main conflicts, Iraq & Afghanistan
Helmets: Richard’s signature trademark, repeating pattern emulates the curve line known in military map symbology as a FLOT (Forward Line of Troops)
Star: 5 points for the five service branches, also triggering sentiment for the American flag and military traditions of blue and gold star families
Lines: Each horizontal represents a year in the ongoing Global War on Terror
Hourglass or Fields of Fire: Filled, timeless, different directions
Color: One color stands for less than 1% that have worn a uniform since 9/11
Center Circle with Propeller: Design inspiration from Bicycle's WWII Spotter Deck
Printed on premium Bicycle® brand card stock
Classic Air-Cushion Finish® for ease of shuffling and optimum performance
