This is the part of KINGSTAR 2022 Dream World Mystery Deck Series . This deck is limited to 7888 and has the highest print run amongst all Mystery Decks . Dao (道 dào) – the origin and source of all things. It can be translated in many different ways, including The Way / Road / Path / Method. According to Daoism, it is the absolute principle underlying the universe, combining within itself the principles of Yin and Yang and signifying the way, or code of behavior, that is in harmony with the natural order. In these novels, characters often try to gain insights into the Dao, which can give them supernatural powers or even control over the natural world. This Deck depicts the young people who have started their journey to understand the “Dao”.

Cultivation leads the path to immortality. Only religion that can be said people follow in the Dream World is Shinto . Shinto is more like a way of living life than a religion , celebrating harmony through festivals,worships and living life .

The first deck from lifelong SoCal native Henry Cortez and SoCal Playing Cards, introducing SoCal Playing Cards! With the four primary colors and elements of the California flag, we present a deck that we are proud to call our own. But, this is not some run-of-the-mill novelty deck! It was important to us to also produce a deck feels and handles just as well as those that cost twice as much! Recolored pips and courts in the four main colors of the California flag in pantone inks.

As you may have noticed, my campaigns always took influences from various Asian cultures. The main inspiration for this release came from a form of Chinese Opera, Kunqu (昆曲). The name of this deck, Reverie(游园惊梦), came from a piece of traditional Chinese tragicomedy play named The Peony Pavilion(牡丹亭). It was written in 1598 and has been one of the most renounced pieces of Kunqu opera in Chinese culture. The Opera tells a love story between Du Liniang and Liu Mengmei. They overcome all difficulties, transcend time and space, life and death, and finally be together. In these decks, you will find a wide range of characters; they range from student and dancer to even assassin and emperor. The whole decks, especially the 4 Aces, are incorporated with elements of traditional ink wash painting(水墨画). There are 2 entirely different card backs with this release. The colorful back of regular Reverie playing cards depicts various Chinese elements such as fan and silk, while that of the marked version is simpler and in my opinion more elegant. One of many reasons USPCC lagged behind Cartamundi and TWPCC was their lack of printing technology, but thanks to Cartamundi's acquisition of USPCC, USPCC finally has upgraded their printing tech and can now do cold foiling! The Bicycle Peacock deck was the first deck to use this technology, but it only used traditional gold foiling. This is the second ever USPCC deck with cold foiling and it features full holographic foiling for the card backs, as well as holo foiling on the Ace of Spades and court cards. It was only sold at CardCon 2022 in a limited run of 1500 and there are no plans for this deck to be produced as a regular production run, so this 1500 is all there will ever be!
