Directly from the hands of Jay Sankey, The Spectacle Deck is a signature deck of cards meant to incapsulate the unique, ever-fooling, and unforgettable magic style of Canada's own Jay Sankey. Featuring built in magic tricks, markings, and more!
The deck is made up of a series of HAND DRAWN sketches by Jay Sankey himself. Jay's illustrations are at the pinnacle of the design. The deck was designed in collaboration with Nick Nisco and Kier Gomes.
We at the Ravenswood Academy engage in Fencing, Music, and Archiving. We also shuffle cards like no one else (see the above video). Our passion for playing cards and our appreciation for aesthetics culminated in the desire to design our very own deck; 52 beautiful pieces of fine paper in complete harmony with our skills and visual preferences. We present: JEUX D'EAU Playing Cards.
While we enjoy bringing cards to life through the movement of our hands, it was decided from the beginning that this new design had to look stunning in stillness; Beauty at rest, even if the deck is just sitting on a coffee table. We think you will agree we achieved this result. The subtle gradient from dark blue to light gives the cards a gentle glow. As the deck is brought to life, our unique design creates a lush wave of azure filigree against a pristine white backdrop. Differing motions reveal intriguing perspectives and shapes, allowing the art to kaleidoscope and coalesce in a whirlwind of elegance. Not a Master Card Handler? Even the simple act of spreading the cards to check your poker hand will give you something beautiful to behold. So fancy you'll need a second monocle.
Jeau D'eau [jeh dō] (literally "Water Game") references the French composer Maurice Ravel's piano piece which seeks to imitate water in all its forms - spraying, trickling, splashing, crashing. This term also alludes to the magnificent water fountains in Versailles and other parts of France where architects sought to seamlessly incorporate moving water as a motif into royal gardens. These beautiful images of Fluidity, Movement, and Creation are all central to the heart of card play, whether used for games, flourishing or magic.
Less than 1000 decks were printed, with over 800 pre-sold by popular demand before printing even began. With only a few dozen left at the Academy for sale, we hope you' will consider adding some to your personal collection before they are gone for good.
A new edition of Neoteric Playing Cards featuring Blue Gilding.
The deck itself features a range of geometric shapes throughout the deck with a fun and unique colour palette. Make the deck come to life by riffling through the cards to see the silver ball move and dodge the obstacles!
The deck's fun colours don't stop with the back design. The face cards are bright and angular, making the courts stand out. Perfect for cardistry!
Printed by the U.S. Playing Card Co. Limited edition of 144 decks.
Odyssey Genesys is inspired by high minimal shapes. The minimalism and the futurims at its most. The luxury is presented with impresive materials and tonalities like gold, silver and yes, holographic. However this is not just a foiled deck of cards...this is again a totally different way to Feel The Universe but keeping the essence of our brand.
This Bicycle x David Blaine deck is a Co-branded collaboration between Bicycle and DB Productions / David Blaine. It is an ultra-premium deck featuring Metalluxe foil on the card back and faces. The card backs include the classic David Blaine Gator Back design in striking Holographic foil while the faces are all custom designed, including 4 unique holographic foil jokers. The stunning matte tuck case is contrasted with gorgeous holographic and green foiling and a sculpted emboss accent. Original artwork by Mark Stutzman.
Similar in design to the reprints; these older editions were printed in 2012 by the U.S. Playing Card Co.
They were available in Arizona Red and California Blue. Printed by the US Playing Card Company on premium stock with a cambric finish. Incorporating a leatherette tuck case, off-white faces, and an organic array of colors, no detail has been spared. They came packaged in a bespoke carton for orders of a dozen or more.
Best accommodations, world-class entertainment, and the highest gambling limits in town! The Juice Joint is a fictional casino that opened in 1958 and well-known for its world-class offerings. While it was initially known as the darling of the strip, by the late 1960’s, profits were in decline and the casino had been taken over by organized crime figures. In an effort to turn the declining profits around, the managers began hiring card and dice mechanics. By 1971, the best mechanics in town were employed at the Juice Joint. In the end, the house always won.
From Doc's Playing Cards, Juice Joint playing card pays homage to a rare 1970’s version of a deck of Silver Nugget playing cards. This deck was originally printed on the same stock and with the same finish as the famous Jerry’s Nugget deck of the 1970’s. However, unlike Jerry’s Nugget, the Silver Nugget decks were never sold in gift shops and are very rarely found unopened.
The Jucy Joint deck features a custom tuck, mirrored card backs, and Ace of Spades. Since this is a casino-inspired deck, the pips, indices, and courts are pretty much standard. Fans of vintage casino decks will not be disappointed!
Similar to these decks from the 1970’s, the Juice Joint deck will be printed to the highest standards of its time – premium stock, crushed and traditionally cut for the modern card mechanic, magician, and gambling demonstrator.
Sin City Cherry Casino (Flamingo Quartz) Playing Cards are bringing back the edge to Cherry Playing Cards.
The bordered tuck pays homage to the original V1 Cherry Casino Playing Card decks, and vintage Las Vegas casino playing cards.
Sin City Cherry Casino (Flamingo Quartz) Playing Cards are limited to only 576 decks. That's it. No more. They will NOT be reprinted.
Each card inside features the iconic swoosh and classic cherry design. Printed on thin-crushed Bee stock from U.S. Playing Card Company, you will love the incredible yet snappy feel in your hands. The indescribable metallic mauve pink is nostalgic of the 50's and the bordered design makes Sin City Cherry Casino (Flamingo Quartz) Playing Cards wickedly cool when you fan and shuffle.
Produced by Pure Imagination Projects and designed by Sam Devins.
It all started around the time the Paisley Christmas Edition came out on Kickstarter 2019. The Dutch Card House Company reached out to Matt Fujiwara (from Instagram 52&Tuck) to provide promotional content, and since then, we have kept in contact with each other. About a year ago, a conversation started that resulted in the conception of Shooters Card Co. After months of multiple drafts and tweaks, we are finally ready to bring the f/1.2 deck to the public eye.
