Room17 (or Room XVII) is a limited edition deck with numbered seal. The tuck-box is like a Rosetta Stone that you can decipher if you want to spend some time.

The cards are the same from Cartomancer variant, but they have been gilded in France. The deck has the numbered seal on the back. Numbers are assigned randomly and cannot be requested.

This series celebrates the beauty of Moroccan architecture and the origins around it. Because they were unable to create art with the human figure (sculptures and paintings), they celebrated their art by embracing complex and intricate geometry. These patterns were a way of expressing themselves and is what built the culture into what it is today. Throughout the following decks you’ll see multiple examples of different types of plaster and zellij pattern work, including a custom-made discovery pattern for the faces and courts.

Illustrated by Ryan Hewlett, this unique deck of playing cards is a visual representation of the history of modern art, design, and machine technology.

Each suit in the deck focuses on one of these four moments in art history - the new typography of the Bauhaus (♠) era, mid-century (♥) book cover design, the late 20th-century (♣) silkscreen poster aesthetic, and the contemporary (♦) art & design in the age of mobile.

The back design features a minimal x-logo against a bed of orange with thin white borders.
