We’re back! And this time we're going nautical. This has been a concept that we’ve wanted to do since the start. Our love of the sea comes from our childhood roots of sailing and fishing. This marks the start of a new era for Joker and the Thief.

Following the success of the Joker and the Thief reprints, we have decided we want to focus on more original designs heading into the future. Since the beginning of our brand, we have developed a list of themes that we’ve wanted to explore. Nautical is one of them, and the perfect opportunity arose when we began collaborating with Gustavo Magalhães. As a passionate artist hailing from Brazil, Gus was keen to bring the concept to life and carry the symbolism, characters and vibe over to Seafarers.

We wanted to create a classic deck of cards reminiscent of vintage United States Playing Card Co. designs. We intentionally went this route because of how classic designs survive the test of time. Gus was instrumental in striking the balance between classic design and our signature vibe.

THE ORIGINALS ARE BACK! Designed to be timeless and elegant, the original Whispering Imps® were instantly welcomed by magicians around the world when first introduced in 2013. Since then, they have made their way into the hands of thousands of magicians, card players, cardists and even network television shows & Hollywood films! The Workers are the latest edition to the Whispering Imps® family. The Workers are a reprint of the Originals with a few updates, enhancements and additions at nearly half the price making them more affordable to the working professional. Similar to the Originals, the Workers include a miniature version of the Harry Kellar poster that inspired this deck, along with its story. The jokers have been simplified and the artwork enlarged to fit more of the card. Pagan is easily one of the most popular poker decks in the Uusi playing card catalogue.  This deck flew out of our stuido. We stopped offering the Pagan deck to wholesalers 1 month after we received it and 1 year after it's release we have only a handful of the original Pagan decks left at our studio. We we felt this was the perfect occassoion to offer one last Limted Edition of this design. The LE Blue Pagan deck on this project will share the same courts as the original deck, but if funded we will be creating a new joker to join the first. The deck will also be further distinguished by a unique tuck box design that is similar to our tarot tuck.

Chicken Nugget White Limited Edition were made for private sale in Hanson Chien Lecture in 2016. Public sale on 2017. 2500 Printed, the stock is the same as Black Chicken Nuggets (softer paper, not the same as Red or Blue Chicken Nuggets). Card case is renewed with silver foiled tower logo and words.

In homage to the original decks, we have decided to print with USPCC on their Premium stock (formally called Bee stock). We are THIN CRUSHING this stock to the thickness of an original Jerry's card. And while these new decks won't feel the same as the originals, we've modernized them for today's tastes. They will be the perfect thickness (or thinness, in this case!) to handle today's sleights, flourishes and cardistry with ease. You will love these cards!

THE CUT: The Modern Feel Jerry's decks will be TRADITIONALLY CUT, which makes them perfect for faro work! They will shuffle bottom up so table faros will be a breeze.
