They were available in Arizona Red and California Blue. Printed by the US Playing Card Company on premium stock with a cambric finish. Incorporating a leatherette tuck case, off-white faces, and an organic array of colors, no detail has been spared. They came packaged in a bespoke carton for orders of a dozen or more.

Tempo Playing Cards are inspired by the golden age of jazz. In the 1920s and 30s a new style of music rapidly gained popularity in the United States and artists like Bessie Smith, Cab Calloway, Ella Fitzgerald, and Billie Holiday became household names.

Designed by Michael Mateyko, each card features an Art Deco style illustration that celebrates the spirit of improvisation and musical expression.

Printed by The United States Playing Card Company on our proprietary thin-stock, each deck of Tempo playing cards come packaged in a screen-printed, embossed and foil stamped tuck case.

After making hugely popular Killer Bee and Super Bee designs in the past, Ellusionist knew there was only one more level that remained unexplored... The revered monarch herself - the Queen Bee. Unlike their Killer and Super Bee decks, which feature a faint white halo around the deck's edge - Queen Bees have no border. The Queens spill over the edge in their glorious abundance. The tuck-paper is matte yellow and thicker than standard deck cases. All details on the sides and front are debossed to create texture. The back of the tuck is foiled in black stripes featuring the life-giving Queen, taken from the Queen of clubs within the deck.
