For six months, we’ve been keeping one secret closely guarded. In collaboration with USPC, we began testing an experimental new process, for the first time applying gold foil DIRECTLY on the back of playing cards.

The cards are then processed with Bicycle’s most durable finish - resulting in a card that spreads, fans, shuffles, and tears just like a normal playing card. Based on research at USPC, they’re 400% more durable and 30% more flexible than any other foil application. Scratch them, twist them, tear them, bend them - the foil doesn’t come off.

In 2011, we released the original Monarchs, featuring gold foil, navy blue paper, and elegant, sleek, minimalistic design. A triumph of form and function, the designed was featured on Luxist, The Die Line, Hollywood motion pictures, and high fashion publications.

Today, we present a new, unlimited edition: Silver Monarchs. Dressed in white, and printed on FSC-certified paper with embossed, silver foil. The Silver Monarchs are fit for a king and as striking as ever.

The most limited deck ever released by Theory11, with less than 1 gross being sold. This deck is not an officially released print run but rather the result of a mistake in printing. During the implementation of metallic gold to the deck the execution of printing was not up to standard and the full run was trashed - with the exception of a gross. This deck should be considered an "error" deck rather than a full public release deck. Virtuoso is a cardistry deck from The Virts based in Singapore.  This group then went on to create 4 decks in the series as of 2019.

Blood Kings by Daniel Madison & Peter McKinnon are the last in the Kings series of playing cards.  Stacked in mnemonica straight out of the box, these cards ooze sophistication from their warm, blood-red backs.  For this stunning second edition, we've changed the paper vault for these beautiful cards to an under-stated, minimal tuck case, blood-soaked with a deep red Blood Kings logo proudly on the front.  Some Kings like opulence, true Kings prefer power... The sides read 'Live Like Kings' - Die Like Kings', a nod to the previous best-selling versions and a final goodbye from this influential series.  GAFFS INCLUDED The Angle Z Gaff is dead, but the double-backer lives on.  Instead, we've added a duplicate Queen of Hearts in each deck that sits proudly on top of your stack. Behind every great King, is a powerful Queen.  Blood Kings. Only in death can they live forever.

Fontaine cards released the Wine Edition Fontaine Playing Cards at the Guess Farmers Market on 5 May 2018. The Wine Edition Fontaines sports a deep purple colorway. From the various live video of the Guess’ special pop-event posted on Instagram, the indices, pips, and courts look pretty much standard. Also, included is an ad card with clothing brand RIPNDIP's Lord Nerma featured on both front, and the back (corners), possibly a teaser for the next Fontaine deck.

The first edition was funded on Kickstarter in March of 2015. This was my very first Kickstarter campaign ever. Although I planned out the process very strategically, experience would still prove to be the best teacher. It is now 2016 and its time for the Second Edition. The Blue Orbits have a very deep blue, almost like Lake Tahoe blue. I love how they felt and how they looked. The Blue Orbits have thick borders which I have always loved because I love the retro feel. I received many messages about the deck, some loved the borders, other's preferred slimmer.  Which brings us to... The Orbit Deck: Second Edition. With every Yin there must be a Yang. Heads and tails. North/South. Hot/Cold. This whole time, the Blue Orbits have been missing it's brother. The Blood Red Orbits feel bold and deliver a mysterious vibe all while looking sharp and iconic like it's older sibling. A few things have changed, a few things have remained the same. I have never liked the idea of simply changing the color and nothing else. I think small things should be updated as the Orbit line gets older. After the Reds I will start making bigger changes to the back design. Which means these will probably be the last Orbits to look like this. The future will bring updated colors and updated back designs while keeping the same essence as the original Blue and Red Orbits.
