Designed for magicians, cardists, collectors, and science nerds alike, Elemental Playing Cards are an homage to the simple beauty of the periodic table — and a nod towards the many ways it mirrors a deck of playing cards.

Elements from the periodic table can be rearranged to form any substance in the known universe, each with their own unique properties; playing cards can be rearranged and placed in different orders and sequences to create different hands. Both feature symbols and numbers. And both live within an order and structure.

Elemental Playing Cards exists to explore these similarities, starting with the first (and arguably most important) element from the periodic table: Hydrogen (H). Subsequent releases will showcase other elements individually.

These are the 1st Playing cards V2. Available in a limited quantity only and never to be reprinted. These Playing Cards are made with the highest quality stock by the United States Playing Card Company. Crushed and Air Cushioned finish. The tuck case is made of smooth paper that feels like velvet with a gold foil ring rapping around and 1ST debossed and cut out in the front of the deck. This deck includes identical jokers, an add card featuring an illustration by Abraham Garcia Sanchez, a 4 of spades duplicate and something special on the King of Hearts.

A whole year after the first Venexiana deck, the story continues with a travel to the dark heart of 18th century Venice. Venexiana Dark features a series of obscure and marginal characters who complete the picture of this haunting city. Thieves, assassins, prostitutes, wicked noblemen and masters of deception are all on board in this imaginary gondola. Hop in and follow the journey to the unknown through the narrow canals of Venice.

Venexiana Dark is in fact two different decks: The "Masked" and the "Revealed" editions, with the first one featuring the courts wearing masks, while the second has the courts unmasked and their faces revealed!

There was a mixup in production which resulted in the tucks for the decks being mixed (masked card in revealed tuck and vice-versa).  This was only noticed after initial shipments were started and then shipment halted to allow the decks to be re-packaged.  As a result, some decks exist with the wrong cards in the wrong tuck, but the majority are assumed to have been corrected.

Memento Mori by Chris Ramsay and Murphys Magic.

Inspired by the Sirius B, which is the brightest star in our night sky. The wave design on the deck is a representation of the various rays that travel throughout the universe, such as the light we see, and all of the surrounding galaxies. The gradient of colors that range from a light blue to a deep maroon is an embodiment of a celestial vision. They're all pointed 60 degrees to the right, an indication of Sirius B's location relative to Earth. The card backs are designed in such a way that you can place three decks in a specific way to display a very cool form. Perfect for fans and cardistry. As you open the case, you'll find a line of text on the flap: "MADE ON EARTH BY HUMANS." When this deck is on its way drifting in space, I want the one who gets their hands on this to know whom the proud creators of the deck are.

These cards embody the allure of the emerald drink, the hallucinogenic haze, sugar crystals in the night, the Ace of Spades modelled after the filigree of the absinthe spoon. With its heavy embossing and text that pokes fun at itself, even the box appears to have had a few drinks. Originally printed for the Prohibition Box Set, the Absinthe Version 2 deck has been tweaked slightly to keep the integrity in design, whilst also allowing you to own more than one deck, without having to buy multiple Prohibition sets. As used in 1902, these playing cards utilize an edge-to-edge borderless casino "gambling house" design. Little Deck Of Horrors is a celebration of the nostalgically scary “Ghost Train” with faces haunted by ghouls, goblins and ghosts. For those brave enough to “admit one”, Horrors becomes a whimsical ride through time, visiting the evil characters of our childhood.

The deck captures the glow of neon fairground lights, as they dart sharply across the back design, completed with a kaleidoscope of skulls. The cards themselves have been carefully tested for optimum durability and are printed on Cartamundi’s now famous B9 finish and stock. Some myths ARE real, so if you’ve never tried it, you’re missing out.
