Murphy Varnish Transformation Playing Cards were originally printed in 1883 by Andrew Dougherty. It was an advertising deck for the Murphy Varnish company from Newark, New Jersey. The Murphy Varnish company was founded in 1865 by Franklin Murphy, the former Governor of New Jersey. In a transformation deck there are unique pictures on each card intertwined with the pips; clubs, diamonds, spades, and hearts. As an advertising deck it depicts comical pictures of varnish salesmen, people worshiping cans of varnish, and all of the good uses for the Murphy Varnish. This unique restoration is limited to just 1883 copies. In collaboration with the USPCC, Home Run Games used the original design with added color from the deck. The box features a vintage long-tongue design.

Commonly known as "1864 Restoration - Saladee's Patent Deck" from the KickStarter project of that name, or "Saladee's Patent Playing Cards Restoration" from the bottom of the tuck, the decks themselves have a title of "Hart's Linen Eagle".  There were 4 unique decks available in the related KickStarter project: Standard, Limited, Original Release and Weathered.  Plus a display deck for the Weathered deck for a total of 5 tucks and P52 entries.

For over 500 years people used playing cards without indices in the corners. Then on February 9, 1864 Cyrus W. Saladee was issued a United States Patent, No. 41,587 to print numbers, suit symbols, letters, and miniature playing cards in the corner of a playing card. The patent was purchased by Samuel Hart and he put Saladee's name on the deck and Ace of Spades.  The rare piece of history is known as the Saladee's Patent Deck. Others eventually started to print indices, as we see in the Squeezers and Triplicates which began production 12 years later in 1876.

Designed by Edo Huang and Alex Pandrea, the Sky Island Black & Gold edition is a very limited print run, with only 500 copies available worldwide. Similar to the Blue and Red editions, the back design of the cards displays the Sky Island Airway logo and two planes which are departing from it. The tuck case features embossed gold foil, while the interior of the tuck case is gold printed. The deck comes with a Thank You card and one custom Joker. In the 1960s, a luxury airline called Sky Island Airways offered an exclusive getaway unlike any other. Passengers were whisked away on private jets to a secluded tropical island known only as "Sky Island". The airline served no other destinations - it was devoted purely to bringing customers to paradise. With a small fleet of aircraft and only 10 occupants allowed on the island at one time, it was truly a privilege to access this modern Eden. One day, it all vanished. The planes, the airline, and even the island itself. The only evidence that it had ever existed was a supply of the playing cards that were handed out to passengers during each flight.

Per direct communication with the artist, there were 14k total decks manufactured (7k light, 7k dark). Of these, 4,200 of each color (4.2k/7k) received an official numbered and signed backer card, but there were a total of 7k printed for each color.
