Soundboards Playing Cards were first created by Patrick Varnavas in 2014 and then released in 2015. That first edition was printed in blue and shortly after a red version was teased but never ended up becoming a reality. Now, for the first time since their original 2015 release, new Soundboards are being printed through collaboration between Patrick Varnavas and Riffle Shuffle. It is an honor to introduce the newest edition of Soundboards to the world after nearly 4 years of waiting.

The Soundboards deck was created to celebrate vintage audio gear like 80s cassette players and gramophones. The back design incorporates major pieces of audio equipment from different eras into one harmonious setup. The design is detailed and easy to stare, finding a balance between simplicity and complexity. The deck’s traditionally reversible and intricate back design, illustrated by Stuart Palm, has held up over the years and has been left largely unchanged in this red edition with the exception of a few small details.

This time the cards are coming from USPCC on their Crushed Premium stock, a welcome change for all card handlers. Limited Edition of 2500 Decks. Every detail from the original Soundboard’s memorable box has been faithfully recreated in this new red edition featuring added structural improvements to enhance the box’s functionality. Fans of the original deck will feel the nostalgia immediately and the deck’s ties to vintage audio gear will get everybody else feeling the nostalgia too. Both the richness of the era it represents and its complex but comfortable design make the Soundboards a deck that’s sure to resonate with all who find it.

Killer Bees are the mutant hybrid of timid European honey bees and their African cousins.  Like all superhero stories, the Killers were introduced to Brazil by mad scientists to help re-populate their diminishing Bee population.  But no-one could contain them... In 1957, 26 swarms escaped quarantine and declared war on the western hemisphere.  Danger lurking in the skies, these villains will stalk their victims for up to 1/2 a mile..  We wanted to capture the darker bodies of these cold-face killers in our deck. Creating a harsh black back with toxic-waste yellow honeycomb spilt on the back.  The black faces display custom pips and hold a sinister simplicity. Like something you'd expect to see on a discarded barrel of methylamine.  Killer Bees are the result of an unsanctioned lab experiment when toxic-waste spilled into a delicate hive of Honey Bees.

Dealers Playing Cards contain a Daniel Madison marking system. With each deck, you will receive a downloadable movie teaching the system. Marked decks can cost between $20-$30, but Daniel wishes to offer his system at the price of a normal deck of cards as you can see above. Dealers in Erdnase Green use the exact pantone color of the book Expert at the Card Table by S. W. Erdnase. As used in 1902, these playing cards utilize an edge-to-edge borderless casino "gambling house" design. Also available in a white version which was released later (May 2013), this deck from Theory 11 was released near the end of 2012, was illustrated by hand in South Africa and designed by Simon Frouws. They featured elegant gold foil stamped onto ultra-lux black paper derived from sustainable forests. Produced by USPCC, the stock is from FSC-certified papers derived from sustainable forests, vegetable-based inks and starch-based laminates. Sealed with a red tax-stamp, vintage sticker seal marked with the exact month and year of print. Containing largely standard face cards, the emphasis is on the premium foil tuck, card back artwork and stock quality that also was environmentally conscious.
