The Chernobyl Limited ed. holds 54 poker sized playing cards (52 + 2 jokers). It is a combination of copper pigmented pantones and metal copper foils, used to simulate rust and an iconic artwork that is sure to leave a lasting impression with the addition of embossing effects. The tuck case itself is sturdy and designed with heavily corrosive corners here and there. At the bottom of the artwork the Chernobyl monument with the firemen is represented as a commemorative basis for the artwork.

This dark green tuck box stands for Germany’s enchanted forests, home to wolves and devils, ghostly maidens and slumbering heroes, hidden caves and long-forgotten treasures. Even by day you are warned not to venture too deep into the beech and thick pine, lest you never find your way to the safety of the road again. But only the most reckless venture into the forest at night, for there witches and demons mete out fates far worse than a simple death…

This cream-colored tuck box represents Germany’s majestic castles, towns, and villages. From the mightiest keep to the lowliest inn, they serve as centers of civilization and culture, safe havens from the terrors of the forest. But even here you may round a corner and suddenly hear the distant song of Lorelei or the haunting pipes of the Pied Piper, tugging you back toward the wilderness, back into the shadows…

EPHEMERA: any items such as tickets or cards that were originally meant to be discarded after use but have since become collectibles.

EPHEMERIDE: French name of a paper calendar that gave you daily information all over the year.

From this idea and my collection of Ephemera over the years, I get the idea of the EPHEMERID playing cards: each card comes with a unique design based of my thousands of hand-letters, invoices, bills, tickets, and photos!
