From the 2017 mind of Joe Feldpausch comes the Black Hole Edition Orbits! Joe and I have been talking about this idea for years but never found a proper way to accomplish what we wanted so we shelved it. 7 years later, we found a way to bring his idea to life and turned it into a polished final product with the help of my other half, the legend himself, Daniel Schneider on the artwork. The cards were printed at Cartamundi and have been in pre-production for over a year now. It took a lot for us to get to this point. The hole is the exact dimensions of the inside of our signature Orbit O on the back design. All the card faces are warped around the Black Hole. The deck opens the door to new grips, new moves, and a completely new look and feel. We plan on making at least a few more editions of these. This deck is for cardists, magicians, collectors, and space geeks alike. Come see what's inside a black hole.

This Orbit deck uses the same artwork which had been used throughout the Orbit series. On this deck, the artworks appeared to have warped around the big hole on the middle, like how black hole sucking dead stars in space.

With "Room & Space" as the theme, I pondered for a long time on how to represent "room" concretely. Eventually, I decided to use "doors" as a tangible object. A surface with a door becomes a room.

As the debut project in this series, "doors" signify the initial notion of "entering everything." Inspiration largely came from motels and key cards frequently seen in road movies.

For the illustrations, I used the earliest water-based pens commonly used in early card designs. The process involved physical illustration before scanning, attempting to produce cards in the most classical way rather than simply simulating a set of so-called vintage designs.

As the debut of Smooth Writing, the cards are manufactured by TCC in China.

The Silver Edition's (limited to 700) design has been modified to resemble an elevator door, and the deck's design is adjusted to a silver-gray tone.

The embossed tuck case with deluxe specialty paper and silver foil on the inside make the tuck case exceptionally textured. Linen finish and the appropriate paper thickness also ensure a remarkable feel while using them.

This deck is an exact replica of the one featured in the Solitaire17 app. It's distinguished by its luxurious gold foil detailing on the back, adding a touch of elegance. While the face designs are standard, maintaining a classic look familiar to casual players, the overall deck adheres to traditional styles.

What sets this deck apart is its origin story. Initially designed exclusively for the digital realm of the Solitaire17 app, it later transitioned into a physical product. This tangible version, however, is not just a novelty. Limited to a production run of 700 units, it represents a bridge between the digital and physical worlds of gaming. Plans are underway for a future version with improved paper stock to enhance performance, as the current material has room for improvement.

Solitaire17 LTD700 Red deck was released as part of Stockholm's 2023 Patron awards. This deck was based off of two name brand decks he designed for his Solitaire17 game app released for Android & Apple phones.

The paper for these decks is a little different as Lorenzo wanted to test it for a real deck. It is white core art paper with the playing card texture, and the same butter finish as the other ones. Usually he orders the German Black Core paper with butter finish (Quartermaster, 17th kingdom, and others). As replica of the Solitaire17 app decks they turned out great and the foil application is very defined.

The Caccabus tuck box is manufactured with a black, soft-touch stock which is embossed on all sides. Copper foil and black/UV varnish is used in combination to honor the spirits of black magic and archaic energy. UNLOCKED BONUS: UV glow in black light.

The Hagazussa tuck box is manufactured with a brown, soft-touch stock that is embossed on all sides. Copper, black and red foil is hot stamped in combination to form the elements of witchcraft on the front and a chilling, burning cross on the tuck back.
