As we mentioned, the Medusa Playing Cards has seven marking systems that work in Mnemonica Stack, the stack introduced by Juan Tamariz, and the one most popular among magicians. Marking systems features: The deck is marked for value and suit. Each back also tells you what the previous card was. If a spectator cuts off a portion of cards, the top card tells you exactly how many cards they are holding. You can tell how many court cards are in the spectator's pile. You can tell how many even and odd cards are in the spectator's pile. You can tell how many red and black cards are in the spectator's pile. You can also tell the values' addition of the previous cards. Each card reveals its own position in the stack. If you are familiar with Mnemonica, this adds a new level. You can also mix the deck and use it as a marked deck (for value and suit of every card). The best feature of these marking systems compared to other marked decks is that they use a code that is very easy to read for those who know the secret, but they are unreadable for the spectator. In addition, the design makes the marks as hidden as possible for those who do not know where to look. The back design is strongly inspired by the standard and timeless decks like the Tally-Ho. In creating this back, we used snakes (to keep the Medusa theme) as the main element creating patterns surrounded by lines and dots. These cards do not attract too much attention at first glance. A positive feature, especially for magicians who don't want their audience to believe that it is a tricked deck, especially if marked in seven ways. All the faces have been modified, but we kept the total look very similar to a standard deck. Personalized face cards with modern elements take the dust off the original standard cards without destroying the classic look and feel. Medusa Playing Cardshas redesigned pips, suits and suits' size and disposition. We used a thinner and slightly smaller font for the pips (it is the same font as the logo). We didn't want anything that's too fancy, so you have something familiar but not standard.

These playing cards were designed by Thorbjörn Ingason for the Icelandic creative agency – Islenska. Islenska was hired by Icelandair (a customer-oriented travel service company in Iceland). Icelandair was interested in a deck of playing cards for their international flights. This nice deck was available on Icelandair’s international flights in 2010. 52 playing cards + 1 Joker + 2 information cards. Court cards feature Nordic gods instead of royalty. The Neo-Classic Deck brings together both old and new design into one The tuck design displays the moving cycle of time. The mixture of keeping the classic design with the new and putting it all together in an endless circle. "Neo-Classic", New...Classic,...standard, vintage design that we all know here is being reinvented, redesigned in a new, modern form, style, and with another version of colors on cards (warm and cold, red and blue mixed with old gold, yellowish color). The goal was to achieve a perfect mix, balance between Modern and Vintage look. We wanted to keep all the good stuff classic cards have, basic style, each court card KQJ faces the same direction that classic cards do (one eyed king, suicide king..etc, all of them). Faces have more depth (still simplified style but not flat...) including hair style,...everything else decorated (designed) in a way to achieve the dynamic play with lines and colors but also with a hint of that 3D feel, eye can connect a bunch of carefully placed ornaments into one solid, realistic figure (KQ and J). Created as a pair of decks, Anubis and Osiris, these decks from artist Steve Minty was funded on KickStarter by 2,154 backers who pledged $93,907.  The Anubis deck featured a black tuck and card background, while the Osiris deck used a deep blue tone.  The tucks are with gold foil and embossed with a custom seal, while the cards also have gold foil on the back.
