From this idea and my collection of Ephemera over the years, I get the idea of the EPHEMERID playing cards: each card comes with a unique design based of my thousands of hand-letters, invoices, bills, tickets, and photos!

FOILED FROST MINT

The Foil Frost Mint deck features iconic Mint pattern Foil Stamped in Cobalt Blue with the United States Playing Card Company's proprietary Metal Luxe technology. Proudly crowdfunded on Kickstarter. This deck was presented as a part of the MINT 2 Kickstarter project in 2018. Over 5,600 incredible backers came together to raise a historic $564,558 in funding to make this deck a reality. This deck was an Ultra-Limited Kickstarter Exclusive that was only available during the 30-day Kickstarter campaign in July, 2018. Only 3,144 decks were made. Most backers were only allowed to get one deck. The highest level supporters of the project were allowed to get two. Printed by the USPC on Crushed Casino Grade Bee Stock. Coated with the legendary Air Cushion Finish and Traditionally Cut. Packaged in a rigid tuck case that is beautifully laced with foil and embossing. The box is sealed with a serialized 'Foil Edition' tax stamp and wrapped in cellophane.

The colorful and stunning frame on the card back is unlike any of our previous works, its beauty comes from the innumerable color lines but not inconsistent interacting with each other. It’s like holding the huge brain waves in your hand. When you opening a fan with this deck, it will look different in both directions. Looking at the Ace of Spade, it only has a rough outline of a spade. The shape of the line is like a kaleidoscope. It seems to have a regular square, a triangle, and it seems to have some infinite marginal curve. Using warm colors on Heart and Diamond symbolizes the emotional side of the designer; while the use of cool tones expressing Spade and Club is like the rational side of the designer's mind. For the Court card, the half part of character also has a mystery, the image frame of the character J is a triangle; the image frame of the character Q is a circle; the image frame of the character K is a trapezoid, and all the characters seem like breaking the frame and appear outside the picture.

For the past 14 years, Cohen has performed Chamber Magic there, in a private Waldorf Towers suite, for sold-out audiences including Warren Buffett, David Rockefeller, and the Queen of Morocco. All that lives must die. -Hamlet. Inspired by the works of William Shakespeare, I sought to approach this deck based on the themes prevalent in his work: Life and Death. The themes of life and death are represented with the motif of Thorns and Roses. Thorns embodies the pain of loss and death found in these works, while the Roses the sweetness of love and life. The decks feature four of Shakespeare's best known works: Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet, Macbeth and King Lear. The Roses deck interprets these characters with an item of significance while the Thorns deck depicts their method of death (it's a lot of deaths.)
