The Agenda Playing Cards Facade (henceforth Agenda Red) continues the tradition we have established in our earlier projects, Agenda Playing Cards (aka V1), Mini Agenda, and the recently funded Agenda Playing Cards Redux (aka Agenda Blue) - translating abstract concepts related to change, transformation, ideology into concrete visual representations embedded in playing card designs. The idea for Agenda Red came to us in the middle of our hugely successful Agenda Blue campaign (we have our ups and downs for that campaign if you are acquainted with what has happened). There was a realization that there are still many other ways we can play with the ideas and concepts visually using the playing card medium. In fact, we did not just spawn Agenda Red, we are also working on an Agenda series that will include at least another 2 playing card projects. The rest of the series will feature exploration of other related concepts and new, exciting design and colour schemes. The success of Agenda Red will serve as catalyst to complete the entire series.

The Agenda Redux Playing Cards and Agenda Coin are the latest offerings from Flagrant Agenda following our success with Agenda Playing Cards (henceforth V1) and Mini Agenda Playing Cards last year. Playing cards have again and again proved to be fascinating mediums for communication. We have recently come into contact with mint coins as another means. Compared to playing cards, mint coins has added durability but constrain the expression of our ideas visually. We, however, appreciated the opportunity to crack our brains and take only the best of our design and put them on the mint coins. The Kings Wild Americanas sports a red, white, and patriotic blue colorway with custom card back reminiscent of the Tally-Ho circle back, Ace Spades and Jokers. The court cards are Kings Wild Standards and feature the same color scheme as the tuck and card backs. Definitely a beautiful deck for any table game with friends and family.

Three editions are on offer- the Standard Edition, Limited Edition and Gilded Edition. All three decks are printed by The United States Playing Card Company on crushed Casino Bee Stock and traditionally cut. They have an air-cushioned finished for exceptional handling and play.

The tuck cases are beautifully letterpressed by Clove St. The Limited Edition tucks features embossing and stunning gold hot pressed foiling. Also, the Limited Edition will be numbered and sealed with a gold foil seal.

This deck will feature the new set of Kings Wild Standard Vintage Courts. This court set was originally developed for the Tigers but I have evolved it even further from the courts used in the Standard Tigers deck to what you see below. This is the same court set featured in the Thoroughbreds deck, but it will have a Red, White, and Blue color theme in the Americana.

This will be the first deck that features the new Kings Wild Standard Court set printed by the United States Playing Card Company.

The Planets is a collection of decks representing the planets in our solar system, starting closest to the sun and moving outwards into the surrounding universe. This is the most luxurious Vanda deck series to date. The seventh deck of this series is Uranus, featuring skybound creatures with winglike feathered gills on the sides of their heads.

Uranus is the god of the sky and thus tied to the constellations formed by stars and the signs of the zodiac. Each of the 12 court cards include a zodiac sign incorporated into their clothes. Suit assignments for each sign follow the traditional Tarot associations.

The Pluto mini deck will be printed by MPC and will include their very cool holographic printing effect on the card fronts. The tuckboxes will be printed by Gamblers Warehouse and will match the other planet LE decks—blue paper boxes with gold and silver holographic foils on the exterior + silver holographic foiling on the interior. They will be sealed with a numbered metallic sticker.

Also, every Pluto deck will include a Carat mini display case, made of 5mm acrylic with a front panel that's held in place with magnets. These mini cases were custom-designed specifically for the Pluto deck!

These decks will be limited but we will produce enough decks to cover orders placed through Kickstarter and BackerKit.

A unique collectible of 54 individually hand-drawn cards inspired by fashion, an art series that is at once intensely personal and an accessible, shareable story. Printed by the prestigious USPCC, these are casino grade 2.5'' x 3.5'' deck of cards.

My design partners at Deveo Media and I have created a project showcasing Chinese culture. We hope you enjoy seeing it as much as we enjoyed making it!

“Middle Kingdom” was used to refer to civilizations around the Yellow River Valley before the empires leading to modern-day China began to form. The two characters in the ideogram for China, 中国, are part of those for Middle Kingdom, 中央王国, so the reference has stood the test of time. The court cards use exquisitely detailed line art of Chinese deities and people, while the card back is a great freehand drawing with interpretations of Chinese lattice borders and, of course, a dragon.

China's vast history provides a rich palette of subjects for court cards.

MASCHERATA is the new deck by Emmanuel Valtierra Illustrator (EVIL) which is inspired by old illustrations of masks and modern renaissance style disguises. This is also the third installment after ANGELOLOGIE and DEMONOLOGIE that uses this colored-handmade-engraved type of art. One last deck is remaining in this series set to be launched in a future Kickstarter campaign.

All the chosen masks were carefully selected to represent their suits. For the Kings we selected imposing masks like the plague doctor, my favorite, the Queens are beautiful female masks, for the Jacks we have animals to illustrate the cards and finally for the Jokers we have some cool masked jesters ready to entertain the public.

For the back of the card, we have chosen the green color to be dominant. This is because we want our 4 decks to have a different color. We already used red and blue for our previous decks.

All the illustrations were made by hand and retouched in Photoshop.
