Sovereign is a homage to some of the most well-known Kings and Queens of the greatest European empires of all times. Sovereign reimagines the courts of a standard deck with illustrations that are gorgeous and colorful, with intricate details.

Sovereign, a person who has supreme power or authority...

This campaign is my attempt to represent Sovereign, which is defined as:

Having supreme rank, power, or authority - supreme; preeminent; indisputable - greatest in degree; utmost or extreme - being above all others in character, importance, excellence.

Each one of the historical kings and queens depicted in this deck are a shadow of what true sovereignty is meant to be. Each one was flawed like us all, but were seen as divinely anointed. The kings and queens were honored as divinity its self. Birth right and elevation, great responsibility and power.

    Meadowlark (Standard)

    In 2018 my friend and I opened our own little independent pharmacy in a small Nebraskan town (Hickman). As a way to bring a smile to the faces of our customers, I learned a few VERY SIMPLE card illusions ("tricks are what whores do for money" -Gob Bluth). During the process I fell in love with playing cards, magic, and cardistry. Short story long, I talked to some WONDERFUL individuals (including Brendan Hong and Gio aka Thirdway) and they inspired me to create a deck for the pharmacy. I reached out to an incredible illustrator, Russell Gray, and after almost a year of brainstorming and countless adjustments, we created the Meadowlark Deck. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. If you find yourself in Lincoln (Nebraska), I encourage you to take a 10 minute detour south and visit the pharmacy. I would love to see your cardistry moves and card illusions!     HMNIM has partnered back up with Dan & Dave to release a beautiful, limited edition set of top quality playing cards in a new color. Dan and Dave or "D&D" are the industry standard of excellence in the world of playing cards and cardistry. The brothers have cornered the playing card market, and they did it with hard work and an eye for design. From the hand-drawn artwork to the impeccable cut and finish, these cards really are a cut above anything else you've ever used. Made using high quality printing techniques, the tuck box was printed (both inside and outside) on imported matte paper. The tuck was embossed with UV coating.     Over a decade in the making, this optical illusion marked deck has quickly become a favorite among David Blaine and his closest magician collaborators. Mathieu Bich presented this design to David Blaine. David instantly understood the strength of this marking system, and this incredible deck was created.

    BLRD playing cards are a stealth magic deck. The 'reader' system is not easy to learn, but once seen, it can't be unseen. The BLRD system allows for a deceptively fast read of the value and suit of each playing card, even from a distance. These decks are sold for entertainment purposes only.

    This edition of BLRD features cold foiled card backs and numbered seals. 52 decks have been signed by David Blaine, and will be sent to randomly selected customers. If you miss out on this release, the standard editions will be coming soon.

    Printed on Viper Finish from Legends Playing Card Co., this ultra-thin, soft card stock is engineered to be long lasting and handle smoothly in varying climates. Each card back is cold foiled, with an embossed and foiled tuck. Designed for working magicians, Viper Finish provides premium feel, handling, and durability.     People have been buzzing about our Honeybee decks since the first edition launched in 2015, selling out in a single day! Since then each new version of Honeybees has continued to sell out. Bicycle Honeybees, aka Honeybee V3, are the best version yet of the Yellow & Black editions. For the first time since 2016, borderless versions of these colorways are available!
