Fantasma is a series of poker playing cards designed by Thirdway Industries, inspired by Ghosts. This project is experimental, and marks the first deck by Thirdway Industries to be printed almost entirely with invisible ink. The court cards are fully custom, intricate and invisible under normal light. Only a blacklight reveals the design! The indexes are printed with Neon Ink, which is visible in normal light but fluoresces under blacklight, becoming more vibrant.

The outer covering for “Spirit” is an embossed and holo-foiled premium paper sleeve featuring a cutout that reveals a small neon skull. If you remove Spirit’s sleeve, you will find the inner box, which is completely blank apart from a tiny, winged skull. However, like the Fantasma cards, the box inside the sleeve is blank only in normal light conditions. Blacklight reveals an intricate design.

The first edition of Overlook Playing Cards, released in 2018, is now called the “Carpet Back,” with its back carrying the iconic carpet design inside the Overlook Hotel. This second edition, released in 2023, is called the “Maze Back”. Its back design represents the maze from The Shining’s nail-biting climax.

The faces feature a slightly custom USPC face design. Each deck includes a double-backer with the Maze Back on one side and the Carpet Back on the other.
