Legal Tender is Kings Wild Project's next offering in a long line of luxury playing cards inspired by the artist Jackson Robinson's love of currency art and banknote engraving. With over seven years of playing card design and having produced over 200 custom illustrated decks of playing cards, Legal Tender is the culmination of some of Kings Wild's most breathtaking artwork combined with the industry-leading advancements in printing technology and production.

Note: This is the v2 version of the Holographic Edition, not to be confused with v1. To distinguish, this edition is clearly marked as VERSION II on the bottom of the tuck, thus should receive a separate entry on P52. According to Jackson Robinson, "This version contains a design update that allows for only certain design elements to shine with holographic foil, rather than the entirety of the card, allowing for the artwork to be clearer and more accurate to the modern dollar bill."

The Street Fighter's 30th anniversary brought you tarot cards; now, we're introducing playing cards to the field. These awesome cards feature symbols that correspond to different titles!

Like the tarot cards, these cards as well as their suits and the box design feature original illustrations. I wanted to bring to you everything that makes the characters so special, while also preserving the classic feel of playing cards. Characters appear in Western apparel, with each suit and all aces individually designed to fit their associated titles. I partnered with the US playing-card brand Bicycle, which as a huge fan of them really made me happy. Instead of using the standard template, I designed the special box from scratch. With the cards covering a range of titles and appealing to a variety of fans, I really hope they cause a sensation in the fighting game community. It would be wonderful to see people discovering their favorite card. Incidentally, my personal favorite is the Queen of Hearts.

La Mouche is a 54-card poker-sized custom deck following the adventures of a fly, the mischievous protagonist, sometimes appearing as an insect, at other times disguising itself as a beauty mark. Throughout the faces and reverse of the cards, you’ll find numerous references to repurposed playing cards from the past, as well as nods to old card games, art, literature, music, and more – all tied together by la mouche. Printed in 2024 by Expert Playing Card Co. on their classic linen-finish stock and featuring silver cold foil on the faces, La Mouche Blanche has been released in a limited run of 700 decks. The custom-shaped tuck box, echoing vintage packaging designs, has been manufactured in Italy by Boschiero & Newton using letterpress printing on high-quality Gmund Cotton paper stock.

The Lost Legends story takes inspiration from "The Middle Ages" in Europe, also known as the "Dark Ages." This era is characterized by ignorance and superstition, shrouding the world like a never ending nightmare. During this period, the Church initiated the lengthy "witch-hunt" movement, leading to the persecution and suppression of countless innocent women being accused. "Lost Legends" is a series set in this era, drawing from its historical context while incorporating fantasy elements to create an epic series.

Standard Edition "The Witch": The character depictions on the card box is delicate and captivating, presenting an enduring sense of historical weight akin to sculptures. With gold foils, the overall tuckbox stands out as an art piece. The Standard Edition is limited to 2500, individually numbered at the bottom. The overall construction of the tuck box leans towards the solemnity of Papal murals, while incorporating elements reminiscent of the Mughal decorative art style to achieve a harmonious composition. The card back and front designs feature extensive metallic ink throughout, providing just enough shine to enhance the designs of the patterns and characters. Also featuring a looming intricate pattern in the background, it further enhances the luxuriousness of the cards themselves.
