This deck is an unreleased deck by Sinecure - a privately commissioned project and will not be released to the public outside of Kickstarter! (add-on offered in Dairy Playing Cards)

• The deck draws on design elements from the turn of the 20th century: a golden age of science and invention.
• The card back is based on the Greek myth of Prometheus who defied the Olympian gods by stealing fire from them and gifting it to humanity - an analogy for the gift of progress and enlightenment.
• The latin “Fiat Lux” means “Let there be light” - in this case the light of science and reason. Light (and its absence) are referenced heavily throughout the deck.
• The court and number cards are inspired by art deco / art nouveau poster art and metallic sculptural forms. Each court card is the personification of an aspect of science and industry.
