Redemption Story Vol. VI is the Patrons deck. A limited run of 650 decks, printed exclusively for our Patrons, due to issues with the print below.

There is a little issue with the PATRONS deck that I NEED YOUR HELP for, and this is the main reason for the lack of updates for a long time: I’ve been debating with myself whether I should reprint it or not! The foil registration is stunning, the details very clear, printing is great, handling is good and I’m overall pleased, but:

• The embossed stock has left some uncovered spots on the foil. Some Patrons noticed that from the beginning. I’m not sure I don’t like that, though. It’s all over the card, so you can see it as a texture instead of seeing it as a flaw. I’m not very happy but I don’t dislike it, either.
• Another little issue is that the pressure and heat applied for the double foil on the back has caused the cards to bend. This affects handling a bit.
• None of these is enough to make me reject the print though but I’m not very happy either.

Patrons POLLED as to what they wanted Lotrek to do with the print job:

• Do you want the deck to be sent as is?
• Or should I give it a try and reprint it on a different, smooth stock?
• In case of a reprint, we will send immediately (before the rewards) one deck to every past and active Patron as a REDEMPTION Story deck FOR FREE.

Patrons voted for REPRINT!

This is Patrons Playing Cards - luxury deck of cards designed specifically for the patrons of Oath Playing Cards. The back design and the intricate border features broken border element on the center. The Courts feature brand new illustrations of royalty figures, rich in colors and details. The Ace of Spades features beautiful intricate ornamental design made of hot foil. The pips are customized: each respective pip is adorned with hot foiled outline and intricate patterned half. The Jokers are identical hot foil stamping of detailed ornamental crown.

This is the Red/Gold variant. The back design feature red background with gold and silver hot foil. The faces features only gold hot foiling.

REJECTED - Print run that doesn't qualify as official edition due to some foil marks transferred from the back to the front sides during varnishing. The back side is clean though, and if you're not too picky, the deck is gorgeous! Every flaws are different, a few cards have minor smudges, some might be worse. It's a Patron exclusive deck which can be seen and obtainable by non-patrons. ONLY available as a bundle with Teal/Silver variant.

The Teal Limited incorporates smoother linework with a concept of Oriental tiles and stained glass. The color teal signifies water droplets creating ripples through the smooth surface of a pond, with the silver being the shimmer of ripples conjoining. With enough imagination, one could see the back design of the Teal edition as a scene from an afternoon sprinkle on a small pond in the middle of a forest. The foil only makes this daydream easier. Following the tradition of my creations, the courts use simple lines to sketch out the facial feature of the characters. But with a simple touch of thick and thin within the lines, the characters pop with more personality. The clothings are not shabby at all either, again with blocky color patches and gradients, the traditional courts are rendered more classy and modern. Although the courts maintain the traditional frame, each character has either an item, a weapon, or a sleeve that breaks the borders.
