The Castle in the Sky is a limited-edition, full-bleed, deck of art poker playing cards along with a unique display case and gallery-quality art prints. It is the culmination of ten years of artwork adapted onto a new canvas, as we follow the Nenya cats and Coney rabbits as they take to the air. With your help creating and growing this project, I hope to reach for the sky, and bring a piece of it back for you. The Number Cards can be arranged (in an unconventional way) to create a large illustration of a castle floating up in the sky. In the Silver Lining, all of the artworks are foiled. The tuck box has an additional foil: red.

The Fuyu-no-Sensu (冬の扇子) Winter tuck is a completely custom tuck with a new printing plate created by EPCC for this project. It has a longer lip, a shallower finger grip for a unique design feature that compliments the custom numbered seal, and is thicker to accomodate the Japanese byobu folding screen insert. The folding screen is expertly made by byobu artisans in Kyoto by hand. Such a product has never been made at this scale before and so the screen artists are developing a trial series. Made from thick quality stock and wrapped with the court prints on textured Japanese washi paper.
