Lehigh Valley Railroad.
The Lehigh Valley Railroad was a railroad built in the Northeastern United States to haul anthracite coal from the Coal Region in Pennsylvania to Buffalo and New York City. Most liberal politicians hate coal/fossil fuels, but anthracite coal help build the Northeast from 1850 to the mid 1950's.
LV joined Conrail. Most of the line is now owned by Norfolk Southern.
