The ONDA copper gilded variant was meant to come out in early 2022, but the gilding process was a disaster – a common issue of cracking occurred along 6 of the 8 ‘stacks’ of 25 decks, effectively destroying around 90 decks, more than double our generous contingency.

It was such a stress staring at those 6 obviously unusable stacks that I didn’t want to even look at the decks for over two years. We were initially waiting for some modifications to be made to the machine to allow for this specific type of foil, but our confidence was knocked and we shelved the project after a while rather than risk more Acquamarine decks.

Well, time has passed, and I recently decided to bite the bullet and go through and assemble the decks that survived.

Around 75 of the decks were great and exactly what we wanted – so it’s on a positive note that I am pleased to be able to release these finally to Inner Circle members.

The gilding itself is very unique – opaque copper – and it’s a chance to own something rather unique from us that we are unlikely to attempt again.
