With the Sophomore Year Campaign, I introduced a slightly different take on Freshman Year. I added a border, changed the colors to match a local High School. I started with my school Alhambra High. This campaign, I bring you the second deck in the High School Series, College Park Edition. Features include: Colors were changed to match the school colors (purple and white) of College Park High School Has a border, but still retains the one way back design The Jokers feature the College Park mascot, the Falcon, with the year the school was founded The Ace of Spades has been slightly altered from Freshman Year Kickstarter Exclusive Edition. We will only make what is ordered. The tuck case will say it is a Kickstarter Edition and will be numbered. IF this deck is made in the future, the tuck case will be different.

The 3rd deck in the High School Series, Concord Edition is a tribute to Concord High School in Concord, CA. Their colors are a mute gold and dark green, but those colors did not suit well with the deck, so I brightened both the gold and the green to create a brightly colored deck (also my favorite combination of colors).

It’s the early to mid 80s. I am making my way through Elementary School in Northern California. I have my Masters of the Universe metal lunch pail, Nintendo Power in my backpack and British Knights on my feet. As we sit down in class and open up our cartoon themed backpacks, pull out some folders that have our homework (that I most likely didn’t do) secured inside. This was not just any folder. It was peach colored, had various sports figures on the cover and had a vintage feel to it. The inside was full of so much information, but most of us really only remember the multiplication table on the right side. And believe me, it is not as big as you think it was. The Pee-Chee Folder. A staple among students growing up in the 70s, 80s and early 90s. Most of us had them and they are one of the most recognizable items from our past. And that is the inspiration behind this deck.
