Forbidden Forest captures South Asia's most imaginative mythological creatures in an eccentric set of luxury playing cards. From a horse-headed demon to rivaling monkeys, we have reinterpreted twelve fantastic animals to breathe new life into ancient tales.

The playing card symbol indicates the creature's habitat (♦️ the jungle, ♣️ sea, ♠️ grasslands, and ♥️ sky)- these environments are beautifully illustrated on each ace.

Each creature is a window into how our ancestors interpreted the world - representing their fears and uncertainties and captures their morals and hopes. We want to open questions and create opportunities to exchange stories across generations and cultures. This is our way of share a deeper aspect of our culture with you, focusing not on what divides us but what connects us all.

Gilded Edges in RED FOIL ! SVNGALI is the newest brand and project from the minds of Alex Pandrea and designer Edo Huang. This first installment mends high-end fashion trends with a classic deck design that captures the imagination. Forbidden features a custom SNAKE design stamped in RED FOIL on the tuck, custom DESIGNER back design, custom Ace of Spades, REVEAL King, and custom face cards with a subtle hint of vintage feel. THIN CRUSH stock was used for these cards by popular demand.

After having created several modern original decks of playing cards I have recently been inspired from playing cards from the past. And in this campaign I will present you 2 amazing examples of semi-transformation playing cards from the late 19th century. By supporting this campaign you will be helping bring back a piece of playing card history. All of the art was painstakingly recreated digitally from scratch.
