ABOUT THIS DECK
Made by Coeur and brilliantly designed by Hannelore Heise, called “Bacchus.” According to the World Web Playing Card Museum (WWPCM #03927), there were 2 editions of this deck, published in 1974 and 1986, and the First Edition has gold gilt around the whole of the cards, not just at the corners.
The deck has 52 suited cards, plus 3 Jokers. The cards are an unusual shape, long and thin, measuring 100mm x 50mm, with gold gilt around.
