A cult TV series from the 1960s, produced by ITC who were a UK based company. The set comprises of two jokers and one two colour image repeated four times on the back of the box and cards. The picture depicts the character, Number 6, played by Patrick McGoohan. . The cards are in a cardboard box, and were on sale in the village of Portmeirion, North Wales, which formed the location of the TV series. The cards were made in China. Bought around 2014.

The Prisoner is a 1967 British science fiction television series about an unnamed British intelligence agent who is abducted and imprisoned in a strange village, where his captors try to find out why he abruptly resigned from his job. It was created by Patrick McGoohan and George Markstein, with McGoohan playing the lead role of Number Six.
