Each tuck case has been embossed and stamped with layers of gold and silver foiling inside and out. The result is nothing short of breathtaking. Out of the box, conjurors and collectors alike will enjoy 14 custom illustrated court-cards representing the foundational “makers” civilization has been built on. Printed by the U.S. Playing Card Co. using an exclusive “crushed stock” process to create a more refined and lighter deck of playing cards developed by D&D.

Private Reserve playing cards were first introduced in 2013 as a premium deck for Dan and Dave's professional and private use. Not available for sale, one could only obtain as a gift from the Twins or through various online promotions and giveaways. Long out of print, those decks now fetch several hundred dollars a piece on the resale market.

Several years later, in 2016, a new edition was introduced. Designed in collaboration with Jeff Trish, this new edition featured a gold foil back design, signed Ace of Spades, and a numbered seal limited to 2,500. This edition remains our most luxurious release to date as today we reveal a slightly stripped-down edition for both the collector and cardist.
