One of the most popular Pin-up decks ever produced. It features Gil Elvgren paintings commissioned for Brown & Bigelow, Inc., from 1951 to 1962. The same 54 cards were issued as "52 American Beauties", "Top Hat Playing Cards and “52 Gorgeous Girls". The deck was produced by Brown & Bigelow, Inc., and Stancraft Products. These paintings were used many times in different advertising media such as calendars, blotters, matchbook covers, Mutoscope cards, and finally in trading card format in 1993, 1994, and 1995. This is a 54 card deck with the Elvgren Jester and the bio card so the deck actually contains 53 American Beauties. This deck was produced with either Teal or Red card backs.

Pin Up style, or pictures of models or actresses whose mass-produced pictures were intended for informal display, i.e. meant to be "pinned-up" on a wall, gained its wide-range popularity during the First World War. For the soldiers they were a representation of an ideal beautiful woman and symbolized ones waiting for them at home. Why Pin Ups? As I am a big fan of Gil Elvgren, and make many illustrations in erotic style, I’ve wanted to make this artwork in a similar style to those of Elvgren’s. I did not copy him; of course, – girls on my posters are more discreet and serious, as they represent the Armed Forces. In this deck, I decided to combine Pin Up style with military style of current Ukrainian army - one of the strongest and most advanced armies of Eastern Europe. My characters are women of modern war - harsh and relentless, thus I tried to show more their force and restraint (which is inherent to the classic Pin Up style).
