New Portraits of the American Indian

ABOUT THIS DECK

This is a collaboration between Stuart Bradley, publisher of Railway Station Press, and his sister Artist Jean Bradley. Jean has been painting a series of portraits of American Indians. She has painted over half of the paintings we need to complete this deck of original artwork.

Artist Jean Bradley has painted a series of portraits of reimagined American Indians and these paintings will be on a deck of poker sized playing cards. She has completed all 19 paintings.

They are; The four adult males for the King cards, The four adult women for the Queen cards, Four young men for the Jack cards, The four Aces are all Abstracts, The two Jokers which are paintings of Buffalo

And the "Abstract With Feathers" painting that will be on the back of all 54 regular playing cards and the two extra cards. Specifications of the Playing Cards:

56 Poker size cards (2.5" by 3.5") with 4 suits, 2 Jokers, & 2 extra cards,

Printed on 310 gsm Casino card stock with Shuffled Ink card coating,

The cards will have a Linen Finish,

The two extra cards will be 1. A guide to the unusual suit symbols chosen & 2. an "About the Artist" card with a photo and contact information for Artist Jean Bradley,

The deck will be wrapped in cellophane inside a Custom Printed Tuck Box,
