A deck of cards in a velvet bag with the design of the back of the cards on the bag. The aces have coloured pictures of pirates; the court cards have full reproductions of engravings of named pirates, and the other cards have drawing of pirates in the bottom left hand corners in dark sepia and red with more red on the drawing of the hearts and diamonds suits, although the pictures are the same for each number of the same denomination, ie. al the 2s have the same picture; all the 3s have the same picture, but different than the 2s, etc. The jokers are different although they also have the same picture. One has a red pirate on an dark ship; the other has a dark sepia pirate on a red ship. The backs are one-way and the finish is smooth.
